Possibly selling off my Eurobeat collection

Post by lupin23rd » 22 May 2007, 06:30

Hey guys/gals,

I am considering selling off my Eurobeat collection - pains me to say it but my ultimate goal of collecting everything seems to be a lost cause - we're almost at 180 now? Anyhow, was wanting to see if there was some interest in any of the following items. In a perfect world someone would come along and buy it all up (or many people would, combined, take everything off my hands) but I realize that's probably not going to happen.

Anyways, here is the list of what I have:

Ayu-ro Mix Volumes 1, 2

Super Eurobeat Volumes 34, 46, 51, 57, 61, 71, 80, 99, 100, 101, 102, 103, 110, 120, 127, 130, Best of 1993

Eurobeat Flash Volumes 15, 20, 21, Best Of Eurobeat Flash

J-Euro Mix

All items should have the original booklets / cases (where applicable) and come in a CD case which may or may not be the original one.

For SEB 46, I am missing the bonus disc (wasn't aware there was one - thanks pokecapn!).

For 110 or 120 (can't remember which), I think I am missing one of the CDs. Also 101, 102, 103, 110, and 120 are the official Avex Taiwanese releases (everything else is Japanese). Jewel case for Best of 1993 has seen better days. Everything else should be OK but if you are interested in anything I can send pictures / describe condition.

Also have some Eurobeat Flash but I'll probably keep that as it's good stuff, as I'm sure most of you know

Anyway, if anyone is interested in anything, drop me a line. Hoping to get rid of everything so if I get 20 people wanting SEB1 or something, I probably won't bother selling it unless I get some crazy offers.

Thanks for looking!

Interesting.. What kinda money are you looking to get for the SEBs?

and is there any specific differences besides language on the Taiwanese albums?

Hard to say if there's really any difference with the Taiwanese versions. The 120 set has both the Japanese booklet, and a Chinese booklet, otherwise they could be the same.

For 101, 102, and 103, the spine card is in Chinese, and I think I tossed out the Chinese paper insert (not a booklet - the booklet is still Japanese). I'd have to compare vs the actual Japanese disc (same volume) to see the differences.

As for price, I guess I am thinking something like $10-15US / CD, depending on condition, series, and how much people want to buy. The Maharaja stuff might be in the upper part of that range as it's harder to find IMO. Also, the oler stuff like SEB1 might be higher.

For those of you who PM'd me regarding some discs, I'll try to get back to you tonight as I want to double-check condition / spine cards / etc...

Thanks!

Updated the list based on a couple of sales, almost all of Euromach and a few later SEB albums are gone.

I think the Eurobeat crowd is either ItaloDisco fans, or Franz Tornado fans, since people are generally interested in either or.

No love for the golden age of SEB? :)

(or do you all own every volume by now heh)

If anyone wants something from that list should get it if they can. I just got my Euromach's from this guy and he shipped with great care and they were all in excellent condition (^-^)-b

Thanks again Mike!

Updated the list again, and also added my remaining Eurobeat Flash as I let a few of them go.

Thanks again!

Just wanted to chime in with my experiences with this chap - he's exceedingly reliable and friendly!

I somehow fear I've bought 2/3rds of everything he listed he by this point (including some EBF albums) ;) However on all three occasions I received my CDs exceptionally quickly!

Cheers! :)
