Eurobeat Man-Off?
Eurobeat Man-Off?
I just had a random idea recently. What if there was an album/competition of all the most famous men of Eurobeat to see which one... uh... won?
Imagine if you will the following potential entrants:
*ABeatC
Giancarlo Pasquini
Tomas Martin
*SAIFAM
Mauro Farina
Gianni Corianni
*HRG
Frederico Rimonti
Claudio Magnani
*SCP
Ennio Zanini
Christian Codennoti
*Delta
Davide Budriesi
Maurizio De Jorio
*Time
Simone Valeo
Fernando Bonini
*Vibration
Davide De Marcantonio
Nicola Mansueto (I know he's mostly SCP, but I don't know Vibration well enough to list anything that could be more obvious...)
All with a track or two on Super Eurobeat Presents: SUPER EUROSTERONE!
Your thoughts. :3
EDIT: Fixed/Replaced for accuracy and to hide the fact that I'm a freakin' N00B.

What's funny is that you made Dave Simon migrate to AbeatC records. He is from TIME rmeber?
perhaps you meant Dereck Simon who later became Dereck Simmons.
My thoughts are that Frank Torpedo would win . Not only because he was Gino Garia, but because he had some of the hottest songs around.
On SCP , you put Ennio(I allways misspell his name) agains himself. Don't you think it would have been better to put him up against Ace? Iether way Fastway would kick his butt.
I guess the last three would be ,because of thier STAR quality would be
1. Mark Farina(Mauro Farina)
2. Dave Rodgers (hiMself)
3. Frank Torpedo(Gino Caria)
of which Frank Torpedo would come out the victor. At least in my Eurobeat world he would.

This would be very close, since many of the names you listed are absolutely magnificent in many qualities.
Overall, I think Dave Rodgers would win, but only if he included his better songs such as Eldorado and Music For The People. I think Dave Rodgers is an absolutely brilliant eurobeat artist; he just needs to apply all of the right elements to his music in order to shine.
Mauro Farina would come in second place. Some of his ideas are overused (his "ai-ai-ai-ai"'s for examples), but he's always able to pull off something memorable, catchy, and powerful. He really knows how to make eurobeat music fun and interesting.
Franz Tornado ends up in third for me. His songs under the Jeff Driller alias tend to be generic, but as Franz Tornado, Rimonti fully unleashes the massive inferno that Hi-NRG Attack represents. Similar to Farina, Franz Tornado innovated eurobeat in a fun, catchy way, only he took more risks in going over the edge with all of his productions while still executing them superbly. He loses to the top 2 finishers due to the repetition his songs tend to face, but he's still by far one of the best titles in the eurobeat business.
Finally, I give honorable mentions to Fastway and Matt Land. They aren't unique like the top 3 artists, but with their powerful delivery, lyrical genius, and incredible vocals, both men are two of the best mainstream eurobeat vocalists around and practically never release a track that isn't at least good.
So yeah, the executive owners steal the show for me, but otherwise Fastway and Matt Land are tied for #1. Perhaps the ability to actually own an entire company translates itself well into one's talent as a eurobeat artist as well?

I laughed really hard at this.drnrg wrote:What's funny is that you made Dave Simon migrate to AbeatC records. He is from TIME rmeber?perhaps you meant Dereck Simon who later became Dereck Simmons.

Maybe you should redo that list, zoupzuop with the actual artists' names.

I like Dave Rodgers
But I also like Budriesi...
It's tough - they are all good for different reasons!
