This is a miracle. So many songs you wanted for so long time and even the magic possibility to download the instrumenals.
I am speechless.....
Well. No I am really looking forward to this two songs:
HRG 282: Black Eva / Turn The Beat Around
HRG 287: Fulvia Coupe / Without You I Feel Blue
Not too long away. Maybe next week.....

The releases and the choice of releases is perfect.
My opinion is that Eurobeat had it´s primetime part 2, the years with euromach, aerobeat and eurobeat flash (the serie before Euromach)
Primetime 1 was the beginning with SEB 1-100 and That´s Eurobeat, The earliest songs, when eurobeat became the style eurobeat.
Hi-nrg attack peaked around song 200-350 with great fast, and most important, pure happy songs.
The last years hasn´t Hi-nrg attack made that topquality we were spoiled with for six seven years ago.
I wonder if we ever gonna experience Eurobeat as it was before. I doubt it, but you never no. Once in a while there is a smash-hit, but at the moment it feels like it was many albums ago. You have to go back to SEB 150 or something to find a pure hit.
That is my opinion.
Let´s be happy that we have a fair chance to discover and rediscover one of the finest periods of Eurobeat, when Hi-nrg attack owned the albums.
Hi-nrg Attack is the very best label. There is no competion with their special sound that is uniqe in a way no other label has managed to copy or create.

I was just checking out the Juno website a little further, and I found that in the sub-category that the HRG releases have been put under (Euro / Pop Dance??
), they make up 15 of the top 20 best sellers currently. That's surely a sign of how popular these downloads are, which is a good sign for the future

While I love Euromach-era HRG a lot, I don't agree with this at all. If you look back to the catalogue, we've hardly even listened to their newer crop of releases. The early years was when the label produced their typical, classic tracks, but since their style got fairly repetitive after a while, it seems that they've suddenly stepped up and become a lot more creative with their releases. Lyrically, we've had songs referring to trains, cars, racing, pizza, and a variety of other subjects, as well as some great experimentation with the c-melody synths and what not. I honestly can't really recall any older tracks (Franz Tornado aside) that actually go beyond standard eurobeat content.euro up north wrote:Hi-nrg attack peaked around song 200-350 with great fast, and most important, pure happy songs.

While you may be right that older generation Hi-NRG Attack tended to offer us higher-quality productions (although that's a matter of opinion), you should still recognize the diversity their newer tracks get, which generally causes them to be better imo. Don't get me wrong, their older songs are still great to have around, but at this point I think they're being overexposed when the label could be putting out hoardes of some of their newer tracks.

That is very good news. Eurobeat has been really hard to find for many people over the world. Without Internet I would for sure still be unknown of this music (living in the north part of Sweden)
Eurobeat hasn´t been advertised any good.
Great too here that the download is on the toplist. That means that there is a market, and more labels can start sell their tracks via Juno...

To me it's allways been the same High Energy Attack. Just a tad faster than thier first releases. All good quality songs with catchy melodys and perfect vocals. I will add that my favorite HRG Attack song all TIME is still and probly allways will be Joe D. Toaster- Beautiful UNCOMPARABLE lyrics and vocals
The only other label I really care to have extendeds from is TIME. Esp songs like:
Toby Ash- Feeling Of The Night
Alexis- Love's Theme
Frank Torpedo- Do Ya Think I'm Supersexy
Mike West- Pop Music
Nameless- SMS

This thread were something else from the beginning. It was a thread for releases on iTunes - but Juno changed everything. I am happy about that and this thread is very alive.
But.....
Less then 24 hours too next release on iTunes....
2007-12-01 - Oldies Goldies vol.1
I wonder what the playlist would be, but I am pretty sure that Hi-nrg attack will release songs in the early numbers 100-200. And from 200 and forward they will release on Juno....
