Actually, I think Matt Land is GGM this time.
That would be awesome. Just looking at how incredible Manuel's performances at GGM are, I can definitely expect top-tier quality from Matt with the same label. Did you hear about this track supposedly being GGM? It seems that Avex tends to put only one song from them each time, and I think it's far more likely that Goodnight Kiss is them. Who knows though, could Avex be making up for their absence on 182 by including 2 new tracks from them this time?

At least one has already been recorded ("My Body Loses Control", featuring Kiko Loureiro, if I recall correctly). It's just up to Avex now...
No way! A new Go Go Girls song under GGM and featuring Kiko Loureiro? Avex needs to release that track as soon as possible! :!:

Just saw Nick Mansell on track 17. Well, we got a trio ^_^! Dusty (Fastway), Pamsy & Nick Mansell. Yay! Mr. M and Matt Land look good too. Well, Garçon... I'm sure it will be a miss. I hate Garçon's voice and style.

If Lolita is GGM, I'm looking forward to it because GGM tends to make pretty good music like their last released : Gas Gas Gas by Manuel.

I disagree, I think he's great to have around. I didn't like Hannibal The Cannibal that much, but On The Road Again To The Show and Mazinkaiser Superstar were both quite hot imo. Although, I do miss Tam Arrow's hoards of more mature productions (except Jingle Jungle Boy of course); he's certainly not working at a very fast rate at Akyr Music, with a grand total of 4 songs so far, compared to the 100+ (or somewhere around that) tracks he did with HRG . I would love to hear him under Hi-NRG Attack's newer style (which is lighter than before, but still just as energetic and contains a far more appealing soundworld).

taq
but drnrg you edited your posted after i wrote that you know your original post was different

from nrgexpress:
Actually mine had nothing to do with Energy Express. It was totally a bunch of B.S. too. I was actually still working and taking guesses when I noticed you had allready posted your reply. Most I only reffered to from a nother song like Lisa Lion for I Feel Emotions and so fourth. I totlaly guessed at Dave & Nuage, but had a feeling they would be present. I also got half of one right
11. BAD BOYS / MATT LAND (no Dave Rodgers)

Comon Guys, Jacky O is definately TIME and it sounds from the more Toby Vale/M.C. Thunder agreesive side of Mr. Dall Ora's style so that is Awsome. Does that mean Lorenzo is back at TIME? I love the Name Susy TIME. Now that I think about it Dany's vocals would be more appropriate for "On Fire 2007" style

So for the first TIME in a long TIME HRG Attack are not up to date with thier catalogue.

No Clara this TIME, unless Renoir is a female name :???: That Dusty title sounds really cool. As well as Jimmy Diamond. I really wish it would be Claudio or Nando with a new alias?

lebon 14
Anyway.
Who the __ is Paul Dickenson. Well, it looks like a Dickenson...
Dude where did this lash come from? Dickenson is an actual last name. Unless you still continue to cut down DELTA releases?
Anyway, It's probly Paul Harris singing under a different name? Or your all-TIME favorite vocalist Daniel :P

Real exciting track list. Fabrizzo's and Lorenzo's appearances really surprised me. 8

Garcon's voice is an acquired taste. He's quite nasally and sometimes operatic, and SOMETIMES it works (sometimes it tanks). For instance, Camel Man was an underappreciated GEM of a Garcon song, and OTRATTS (Abbreviated) was fairly nice. If I don't like a Garcon song's preview, I just don't download it~

And, it seems that HRG Attack is really pushing the racing-themed songs! Maybe it's trying to reach the Initial D compilations?

EDIT: *Snif Snif* "Time for a Miracle"? I smell Disco...

I've loved their race-themed songs so far, but I hope that's not the case. I don't want one of my favorite labels to sell out to anime. :???:

I don't think they are selling out? They still have quite a few unreleased racing themed songs in thier catalogue and they are pretty spread out. It's AVEX who chooses the songs on the compilation. It's mainly Jeff Driller and Cy-Ro who sing about cars and it's definately the racing craze that is to blame, but maybe now we'll get to hear some Nick Turbo music. So it's not all that bad. Besides, there are still plenty of songs inbetween about Guns, Elephants, Piranhas and Cows to satisfy HRG fans. I'm still dying to hear Speed McQueen, Dr. Bazooka and Lou Lou Marina. A chick singing about cars. How cool is that?8)

630 Speed McQueen- Speed control
647 Nick Turbo- Ride on fire
666 Nick Turbo- Fast and glorious
670 Doctor Bazooka and the Speed Mc Queens- Tokyo race
679 Jeff Driller- Race speed & fire
682 Cy-Ro No- Speed limit
683 Lou-Lou Marina- Formula one
689 Jeff Driller- Hummer supercar
693 Jeff Driller- Fast cars in my dreams

There are at least two Go Go Girls songs recorded already... My Body Loose Control is at least two years old... it was one of the first songs made by gogos music ....avex just needs to get the ball rolling

Just a few more thoughts about the tracklist,

SCP looks like it's going to do excellently this time, as do GGM and Hi-NRG Attack, but unfortunately none of the titles from A-Beat C excite me at all, so I'm predicting this album won't live up to the excellent SEB 182. A-Beat did fairly well on 182, but honestly I have yet to enjoy a single track from the likes of Norma Sheffield, Annalise (With Your Photograph was solid, but that was recorded before the label's synths went downhill), or Dave & Nuage. Brian Ice interests me a little more because he releases new songs on a more rare occasion, but his style still doesn't really present anything very new or exciting.

A cover by Mr. M sounds promising (I absolutely loved Money Man's Love For Money), but Big In Japan is just boring and generic and woudn't lend itself to as interesting a remake as some of the label's more unique old school tracks. Hopefully Jacky 'O's track will turn out nicely, and hopefully the On Fire remake will too, but the best I can hope for out of Helena is that there's at least enough originality in Spanish Affairs that it doesn't bore me.

Delta's constantly bringing in new male titles to the tabel. Perhaps Clara's just a "gentleman's lady" and wants as much new company as possible now that she's truly in control alongside Newfield? Nonetheless, with the quality we've gotten so far from all of them (Mark Astley aside; his track was not only very mediocre, but also an Akyr crossover as opposed to a real Delta original), I can definitely still expect quality from all of them.

Can't wait for the samples! :)

Wow! Allready a critic on what you havn't even heard samples :???: I acutally have very high hopes for this cd. Big In Japan was exactly what the songs says. "Big In Japan" not boring at all. In fact chalk full of adreneline and one of the best tracks of that year. Have you heard the extended version with killer guitar break? Di Marcantonio sounds better than ever on vocals. Infact, Gambogi will surely have to spice up the vocals alot in order to better the original.

I hope you don't mean "Ironman"? I think this was one of thier best releases and I welcome more songs with that style of key progression or "Riff" if you will.. I'm hoping Jimmy Diamond(If it's DELTA) will be more of that style :D by the way, what's mediocre to you? Don't comapre to other tracks, but be specific about that song in particular. I was under the impression you liked that song, but I guess I was wrong. :(

Not really a fan of late 90's (years) Super Eurobeat, when there was very little originality. Now don't get me wrong, Big In Japan is a good song, but the lyrics aren't anything special and the song follows a standard formula, so it wouldn't be as awesome of remake as Love For Money was (the latter was filled with catchy lyrics and one hell of a brilliant chorus, and bringing it into the new generation takes it to a whole new level). Remaking it won't add too much to the original track besides the new vocalist, and I personally think Gambogi's bluesy voice lends itself far better to more funky, edgy type tracks such as Break It Down and the aforementioned Love For Money.

Well, I never stated anything about SEB 177 aside from the fact that I was disapponted by the tracklist and only really liked Go Bananas, Fly, and Ready Steady Go!. I don't really see anything special about that track aside from the chorus melody to be honest. The vocalist is mediocre and weak, the synth quality is well-below average, and the c-melody lacks originality. Compared to classics we've gotten such as Frontal Impact and Burning Up The Night, it doesn't really have any special merits whatsoever to me. One of the most overrated songs of the 170's imo, and even more so than Bad Bad Bad, which is at least a good song in the first place (but still nowhere near the quality of everything Time released on SEB 179).

I was actually thinking about how it mighht turn out myself. You allready mentioned Gambogi's style vocals, so now seeing that the original relied more on Guitar style riff with backround synthesizers gives Dall Ora a lot more freedom to expiriment and /or tottaly reinvent the riff's melody. I sort of foresee a remake in the style of Heartbreaker. 8)

I see your point from your point of view , just by mentioning those above three songs from 177. Two of wich I thought were the worst of the year and very generic themselves, but it shows how opinions differ greatly . Thanks for replying my question 8)

They just picked out the best possible songs for this bonus disc... Makes the album seem that much more interesting. Was just talking a while back about this bonus disc with Shawaazu and he said he wanted a RED LIGHT AND SEX remix and I wanted a GAS GAS GAS remix... and 'twas also mentioned that NRG would be there most definitely, so gotta say the people at Avex got good taste.
