valiant
2nd Cd
01. BLOOD on FIRE / GO 2 & CHRISTINE
Remixed by DJ Boss (Y & Co.)
02. RED LIGHT AND SEX / MEGA NRG MAN
Remixed by DJ Shu (B4 Za Beat)
03. VIVA LA NOCHE / CHRISTINE feat. ELVIS EL LATINO
Remixed by Seiji"Honmax"Honma (New Generation)
04. GAS GAS GAS / MANUEL
Remixed by DJ Gun
05. NRG / GO 2
Remixed by DJ よっしー (9LoveJ) & 9LoveJ Remix Crew
I have to totally disagree. Aside from Mega Nrg Man(the only great track), I think Avex dropped the ball big TIME

Those are 3 of the worst SCP songs IMOP. The only thing I can hope for is that the Go2 remix drops the rapping and adds a better keyboard "riff" that actually lives up to the name NRG

If it's any consolation drnrg, I would have loved to see a remix of "Bad Bad Bad", but I'm disappointed in the fact you don't like "Viva La Noche"...I think it was SCP's biggest hit of the year next to "Let's Fly Together"

Bore wrote:They just picked out the best possible songs for this bonus disc... Makes the album seem that much more interesting. Was just talking a while back about this bonus disc with Shawaazu and he said he wanted a RED LIGHT AND SEX remix and I wanted a GAS GAS GAS remix... and 'twas also mentioned that NRG would be there most definitely, so gotta say the people at Avex got good taste.
3x SCP
2x Go Go's Music
For The Win
I have to agree with you Bore except for Red Light And Sex and you know all why and if you don't know why, then, brace yourself once again...
I think this CD alone will compense the first CD if it's not good.

Awesome remix disc! Everything on there just rules, especially Gas Gas Gas. I honestly just can't get enough of that song, and I'm glad to see it quickly spawning attention from Avex! The Blood On Fire remix will surely also rekindle my enormous praise for the original track before I overexposed it to death.
Would've maybe liked a remix of Burning Up The Night as well, but I can still definitely point out that I'm excited for the bonus disc!

Don't get me wrong, I like SCP as much as the next person, but for different songs. Here is what I concider Mega SCP hits. Jay Lehr- I'm Alive and Mystic Love, Irene-Love Is The Name..., Mellisa White- Everlasting Fire, and Ace- Futurland. You know, I'm not to big on the Happy SCP sound . I would also love to see a remix of Bad Bad Bad. Actually I know it would never happen, but I think a fusion remix of Boom Boom Fire and Bad Bad Bad would be very interesting.

While not a real mix of the two, if you listen to Bad Bad Bad on 180, it has the boom boom fire lyrics in it
You can hate me but you know you have quality issues =p

Looks rather similar to 182 color-wise, but thankfully still better than 181. The fur coat is an odd dress choice, but I guess it fits the holiday season pretty well.

Most New Generation remixes are awesome for the fact that they always add something VERY distinct, rather than just copy and paste bits and pieces of the song in random places like most of the other DJs. Take the remixes of Looka Bomba and Happy Phantom for instance; both done by New Generation and both have areas of the song totally revamped. That's how a remix should be in my opinion.
Whereas if you look at the remix of...say, Ready Steady Go! on Super Eurobeat 179, it drags on with the same formula of the original track without much experimentation (and what makes matters worse is that this particular remix drags on for nearly seven minutes). For this reason, I usually am not totally hyped over the remix CDs. 4 times out of 5, the DJs don't seem to want to experiment much with the track or take elements too far out of the ordinary, but this is what gives the remixes such a huge impact. May as well just call it a re-edit otherwise.
Nice cover, somewhat "meh" tracklisting for CD1. I suppose that's all right since it leaves more room for surprises.
