I was actually going to post that I was surprised to see most of the samples be longer than 30 seconds. It seemed like the average sample length was actually 35-40 seconds.the_ditz wrote:I'm just happy that we finally get samples that feature the complete chorus AND complete synth hook - gives an overall better impression of what the finished song is going to sound like.

Anyways I think "Sexy Crazy Girl" is fucking Awesome too, but I wish you explain That Renoir. Hardly the Eurobeat style I expect from DELTA.
So far the entire clip sounds wicked. I trink it's great that you keep recruiting artists. I liked it better when the artist identity was more of a mystery. You should make it a point to cover them up more efficiently. I really don't understand the obsession of unmasking thier identity so soon. Kinda like the Mexican Wrestlers and thier masks. The public allways wants to find out thier identity.first time as eurobeat vocalist but don't you think the guitar player is gorgeous?

BUMP!
We have a SEB183 thread and there has been no discussion about the album. Plus, a topic for a song from this has popped up. Comeon guys,
I disliked the album myself. I really only liked Big In Japan 2007 and On Fire 2007 - all the rest of the songs didn't do it for me, which wasn't a big surprise to me. Although, I was REALLY disappointed with Goodnight Kiss. It was like Lolita's first released since SEBwhat? 175? ...and it was mediocre at best.
Hopefully I'll grow to like it.

I'm a mu-mo-er, so I usually only get ones from people I like, or that have gotten some good buzz. I probably should just start getting the full album now that certain personal-money issues are over. So I might update this later. ANYWAYS, of the ones I heard...
Dusty / The Lovebite - Pretty good, typical Dusty-style, which isn't really my style, but enjoyable enough.
Lolita / Goodnight Kiss - Standard Lolita, one way of putting it would be "Yay finally more Lolita like this," another would be, "But it's not much better than her previous stuff," but the former kinda wins out for me.
Pamsy / I Feel Emotions - Saxophones? What the heck? A bit of a departure from usual Pamsy, kinda, like her usual trance mixed with 80s porn music, wish it had a bit more energy to it. Speaking of energy, the Dr will hate this one.
Norma Sheffield / I'll Be Waiting - Typical Norma, but I like typical Norma.
Brian Ice / Save Your Voice to Sing a Song - My favourite of everything I heard, kinda weird how he sounds like Nick Mansell here, I think. Love the chorus.
Matt Land / Bad Boys - Reminds me of Dave Rodgers / Not Gonna Get Us in that is sounds *really* unfinished, like they took an early arrangement and just stopped at that. Just sounds so empty.
Dave & Nuage / Tell Me - I kind of liked it, until it reached about the 3:30 point of so (or the extended). The chorus is nice until they keep wringing it out, and the key change is nice, except why didn't they stop there? Doesn't work as an extended as they arranged it.
Nick Mansell / Burn Into the Beat - I quite liked this one.
---
From what I heard, aside from Bad Boys and the never-ending chorus of Tell Me, nothing was really *bad*, but nothing really struck me, aside from Brian Ice. Might pick up that Renoir one everyone is talking about, though. Along with the rest of the album. *cough*

The album has shipped from cdjapan.co.jp and should hopefully arrive soon, so I'll be interested in the discussion once I do get it.
I expect it to be okay, but definitely not one of the better albums of the 180's. I'll probably disagree quite a bit with Nine though, since I loved 182 and predict Big In Japan 2007 to be in my bottom 3 after I've heard the entire CD.
