Hmmm... try mixing the vocals differently, and if you can... though this is just me... try a bit more emphasis on the upstrokes. Chords with a high-pitched sound tend to work well for me.

The bells behind the vocals also bring it down a bit. Otherwise... exceptional work from the Maitre catalogue. :3
