"Non-Eurobeat" dance songs with a Eurobeat-esque s

Post by wolftickets1969 » 04 Feb 2008, 23:32

A few examples I have heard:
E-Motion - Into Eternity
Clock - Everybody(Eurobeat style synth trumpet)
YBZ - Now That I Found You(know anything about these guys?)
Solid Base - Perfect Melody(in fact the physical release of "In Action" was only sold in Japan)
Basic Element - I'll Never Let You Know(Is this neo-italodisco?)

Not really dance but the style of the Disney song "Cheetah Girls - If I Never Knew You" sounds Eurobeat inspired.

Not to mention E-Type songs have a very eurobeat structure to them along with some eurobeat sound.

Those songs and style is called Eurodance :P. Eurodance were huge hit in europe middle of 90's. Now-a-days many eurodance-groups are making a comeback, but most of them have upgraded their sound to 2000-century :)

for example:

Ah.. classic 90's eurodance (and eurobeat) 8)
Cybersex is on the line, I'm still running in the nineties

Although Joga is classified as Eurodance, their songs follow a Eurobeat-style pattern(ie amelo->bmelo->chorus/sabi). Ditto with many of E-type's songs, eg "Here I Go Again". Also "Life" has a very eurobeat-ish bassline.

A lot of pop-dance songs, or even just normal pop songs, follow the 'a-melo' > 'b-melo' > 'chorus' structure. There isn't anything too special about that. :\

Although pop songs usually have a 'c-melo' part too, but it's not like that never happened in eurobeat.
