SCP getting the majority... Good Or Bad?

Post by Jion » 06 Dec 2004, 18:42

Here's a topic to discuss! Not since the early early early beginnings of Eurobeat has a label over passed another one in being the lead label on Super Eurobeat. The first and only label to do that was A-Beat C when they overtook Time. Now it appears as A-Beat C's one time prodigy Stefano Castana Productions (SCP for short and formerly known as Double Records) is now in command. Is it a good thing and what do you guys see happening because of this?

I personally am so glad that SCP dominated this SEB. They are too good and A-Beat C has been slacking. This would be seen as a spark that A-Beat C needs to pick up their work and not only to A-Beat C but every production label such as Time and Delta. They must be smarting from this move.

I totally agree with you.. This "SCP Domination" would probably be the "gas" that ABeatC and Delta need to restart their production in a good way. This is simply great.. and in the meantime we can enjoy fresh air...

It would be good that every label has their own SEB.. i mean etc A-Beat C has 6 songs on 154, and Delta has 6 songs on 155 and so on.
Cybersex is on the line, I'm still running in the nineties

Who knows?? Probably they will do that..
Anyway in my opinion is better if each Seb is balanced..
It means that in each label should have the same number of tracks...
Probably Avex is doing a kind of experiment... we will see the future seb's...

The only thing I want is that the nonstop mixes on the SEB (such as 1x3 or 1x6) ends and that Vibration be given more tracks per SEB. They only have one per SEB when they have singers like Elisa and Judy Crystal making such good songs such as Poison (featured on VIP 3) and God Of Romance respectively

I am happy and sad about this.

Happy, because I like SCP's music, and I'd love to see more of it in the future. Plus, ABeatC will not have as many repeated artists, which got quite annoying

Sad, because ABeatC is my favorite label, and now that ABeatC is dropping, it seems like a certain artist who I dispise will be added in place of songs that may have made it if it wasn't for the SCP "takeover." ;)

Isn't Judy Crystal from Energy Revolution which if I'm not mistaken are only released through the Dancemania series?

It would be good to have Vibration getting a majority or more than one song on an album at a later date. Even in the 140's they got the short end eg no song on 142 and only ONE song out of 70 in 146.

To my knowledge, Judy Crystal is Vibration. I think she was on Power Diet Club Dance CD with other Vibration stars. I think the CD was Vibration published. Can anyone help here?

Well this is my understanding. Energy Revolution and Vibration are both from Led Records and both produce Eurobeat music. But are signed to different Japanese labels. So at least the Judy Crystal name would be on Dancemania and so will probably never be on Super Eurobeat. However, the vocalist could still maybe sing on the Vibration label as a different name like how Di Marcantonio is John Desire/Eurobeat Lovers on EV and Jimmy Bravo etc on Vib.

Correct me if I'm wrong.

Oh really? Yeah I knew Marcantonio was John Desire and was on Dancemania and that Eurobeat Lovers was him too. Just curious, what about the CD, Power Diet Club Dance? How did that work?

Well seeing it was a Korean release they weren't commited to a Japanese label. So it seems that album is an album of Led Records songs, not a Vibration or Energy Revolution album.
