...Maybe we can all hope for a streaming internet preformance ;D

Some last minute changes...

To sum it up (with some last-minute changes):
in Pisa there will ACTUALLY be singers singing live (Christine, Ace, Pamsy and Domino + us);
in London there will be Domino, Go2, Pamsy, maybe Christine + us.
Note: Hi Phil-eep!! :D
...Love Thy Eurobeat. Love Thy Panu. Squeeze him, Please him, Light his fire. ...Beware his mad desire tho. Yes. I'm done, Move along.

Honestly, I'd like to see them in the Seattle area because that's closest to me - or California because I love any excuse to go to California XD I'd understand how an Anime Convention would be the best place for them to perform too but I wish to avoid anime cons like the plague. I'd go anywhere in the USA though if they decide to come over here to put on a show. (as long as it's announced within a reasonable timeframe. flights are expensive and so are hotel rooms! :C)
Even if Domino may show up? ;3

And, here's why Anime conventions are one of the most Eurobeat-friendly places America could ever have: WEEABOO CULTURE. Japanese pop-culture that American fans can cherry-pick to their <strike>libido's</strike> heart's content.

Anime fans tend also to enjoy other forms of Japanese media, or whatever is popular enough in Japan to warrant their attentions and money. One of those things is Eurobeat ((in fact, I couldn't have seen more of it at Fanime this year! A good 5+ skits in the Masquerade involved it, an Anonymous [of 4chan fame] was seen doing Parapara out by the fountains out front, and the Parapara Paradise machine was at LEAST twice as popular as BOTH DDR machines in the arcade)), which has exposure to J-fans through both J-Pop variations and Initial D. Fans of Ayumi Hamasaki, globe, or Day After Tomorrow have doubtless seen the word "Eurboeat" come up at some point; Initial D fans that aren't stuck with the shitty RAP soundtrack are aware of it. Heck, a good percent of these fans are internet savvy and are at least SOMEWHAT aware of the following songs:

*Running In The 90's (used in the YTMND "Lol, Internet" fad)
*Hot Limit (used in the Animutation "We Drink Ritalin")

As well, anime themes have had Eurobeat (or Eurobeat-esque) remakes in recent years, which has lent FURTHER publicity to the genre to anime fans almost EXCLUSIVELY.

If ANYWHERE is well-equipped and just ITCHING for a Eurobeat concert (we've already had m.o.v.e. do their sets here, to RAVING success), it's an anime convention here in the States. (DO FANIME 2009 PLZKTHX. :3 )

I wish I could go! Even though I'm in Chicago, Illinois during the summer, I'm currently a jobless student, and I'm not paying $119.00 + tax each way to travel to Minneapolis on the train. As for driving, I probably would not want to drive 8 hours each way.

On the other hand, I wouldn't mind a concert in Chicago. That would also probably be better for any international fans (yes, there have been Japanese fans of certain J-Pop/J-Rock groups that have flown over the Pacific just to see a concert of their favorite band), as there would probably be more direct connections to Chicago than Minneapolis. (The Minneapolis metro area has 3,502,891 people, while the Chicago metro area has 9,505,748 people). In addition, there are probably more dance clubs in Chicago that wouldn't mind this type of music, especially if you hook the audience in with more trance-oriented eurobeat such as Pamsy (and to a lesser extent, Christine) and mix in some hyper techno. One of the mega-clubs in Chicago is called Vision Nightclub. There are a lot of famous DJ's performing there, including DJ Tiesto, Markus Schulz, and Infected Mushroom.

Another alternative, especially if you want an international community, is the Detroit Electronic Music Festival. Though Detroit probably doesn't have as many international connections as Chicago, there are a large variety of electronic music acts that perform there (as opposed to the electronic music nightclubs, which typically play only house and trance). For example, in 2006, they had dozens of artists, performing subgenres as varied as jungle, EBM (industrial dance), house, minimal techno, and ambient dub. In 2008, the total attendance was 75,000.

So, there are some suggestions for having eurobeat performed in the Midwest. There are other electronic music festivals and raves such as Monster Massive, though I'm not going into those.

You would want to contact the organizer of the event whose name is Max. here is his LJ:

Also here is his account profile on Para Para Stage:

Don't know how else to get a hold of him, but he'd definitely be able to provide more details. Go out and support your scene which is trying to kick off! ^^b

I'll also be at Kakkoicon already. No comment on the presence of SCP, but it's interesting news isn't it? 8)

Actually, I found out that there is express bus service (Megabus) from Chicago to Minneapolis that is a maximum of $25 (right now, it is $10 each way). If the confirmation comes in, I'm definitely going to consider going (if I can get a cheap hotel room)!

As much as I can't attend the MN show, I do hope they do well enough to come to California! Considering Dave already has (provable) fans in California, imagine how SCP would do there!

(Though, I am surprised... Domino had, what, one song with SCP, why would she tour with them instead of bringing some of the GGM crew or doing a show with them instead??)
