Les Blue Belles

Post by euromania!! » 08 Jan 2005, 06:10

Does anyone know how many songs Les Blue Belles made?
I LOVE "SOS", and in fact this was released on CD single in Australia in 1997, with new mixes as well as original. I have a copy actually. Is it rare?

Hey.

I have "Shine a little love", "Bang a boomerang" and "Sugar Baby Love" by the Blue Belles.

They are all good numbers.

I also have some covers by the Itanlian Girls which I think are like the Blue Belles.

I think it's just Clara Moroni in a studio though , no actual Bellles..

This is as much as I know.

Hi Victor,

You are right, in Les Blue Belles sings Clara Moroni and her friend Elena Ferretti = (ROSE, SOPHIE, HELENA, VALENTINA)

Ciao,

It's sad how Les Blue Belles didn't release more songs, as all of the songs they did were all awesome. My favorite todate is still Telephone, it's just too catchy.

I believe LBB had 6 songs, 4 covers and 2 originals. One of the songs on was released on 12" vinyl. It never made it to CD. I'm really surprised they didn't continue the name as they could add any singer to the lead vocals.

By the way, SOS is the only Eurobeat song I've ever heard played on a US Dancefloor.

Wow that's even new to me... So was Telephone a cover after all? Peter asked me that but I thought it wasn't... at least it was written by Vanni, Moroni & Dall'Ora (which doesn't necessarily make it original)... But that's what I'd think. Sugar Baby Love is a cover apparently at least (recognize it from an anime), but which 3 others are?

And don't they have 8 songs? That is if Bells/Belles are included, as they're the same thing aren't they? And a 9th song if there's something unreleased as well.

Bang A Boomerang
Don't Let Me Be Misunderstood
Knock Knock
Let's Feel The Night
S.O.S.
Shine A Little Love
Sugar Baby Love
Telephone

These are covers:

Bang a boomerang (original Abba)
Don´t let me be misunderstood (Santa Esmeralda)
Shine a little love (ELO)
S.O.S (Abba)
Sugar baby love (Rubettes)

Some of those LBB covers are even better than originals I think.
