The clips for the album were posted on Avex's site... And the clips are:

O-Zone
Manuel
Ace

http://cavex.avexnet.or.jp/Popup2003/A0 ... 5893174833

Not the best sounding previews... Manuel sounded rather slow and so did Ace, and again I'm really disappointed if the album turns out slow. And well it's sad how O-Zone sounds like the best one from these 3, and I never liked Dragostea Din Tei before.. perhaps the eurobeat remix actually does some good for it.

Maybe it's just me but when I saw "My Valentine" it sounded like it was going to be a slow song anyway. Same with the Manuel song, though I am disappointed that it is slow for a Manuel song.

Wow, Manuel and Ace both sound excellent. I hope they keep up with the more mature slower sounding songs. It's a great trend. I have some hope for the Karen song too. It's funny how none of NRGExpress' songs form the list they posted made it to this CD. I wonder where Michelle gets his information.

I can't wait for Van T.K.s new song. I absolutely loved Just Can't Get Enough and Freddy Rodgers looks extremely interesting... I can't wait to hear those two! Captain America looks to be the latest entry from Vibration and I'm pretty sure that it's from Davide Di Marcantonio. Just a hunch.

I just got the cd today...
What I can say now- Queen 26 is ultrabad!
God, this is not EUROBEAT! What is it? Some Britney clone?
Delta, check Gelmetti, I think he has something wrong.. maybe sick. Stop that!
I just listened 1 time, the most of the songs are ok, need to hear again.
Powerful T.,Nando, Go Go Girls are cool,
Freddy Rodgers yeah maybe 10 years old, he has too childish voice.
O-Zone is boring, I have the DJ Ross remix and others for 1 year ago...
Capatain America - Gianni's voice again.
There was much better albums.
...I remember that time...

SEB154 has the BEST song of SEB HISTORY on it.

Go Go Girls - I Wanna Be Fat

This song surpasses ANY OTHER EUROBEAT SONG IN EXSISTANCE, and if you don't agree, then it sucks to be you and I'm very very sorry...

...in my humble opinion, ;)

And with Queen 26's song... if I wanted to listen to this kind of music, I would go and buy one of Kylie Minogue's Greatest Hits albums. :P but I didn't. So boo to this song.

But I Wanna Be Fat makes up for every stupid mistake on this CD. Even the Nuage track. (especially the nuage track... )

toootally agreed. I Wanna Be Fat is all around perfect eurobeat. It's like the bouncy and aggressive go go girls songs back in the good days, and not to mention the excellent lyrics and puns... Go Go Girls have never been as good as they are now...

I can't believe they made a eurobeat remix of Dragostea Din Tei.... I'm a lil in shock... i remember hearing that song like a million years ago... Still in shock.... The music video I originally saw was very gay friendly... hmmm....

I LOVE 154!!! one of the best SEB's i heard in a while, maybe not my favorite songs but they are almost all good, wich doesnt happen often on SEB. I just dont get that weird Queen 26 song... its not even eurobeat, i dont see why they put it on that album. but the new Vibration is perfect, the new Go Go Girls rock, The new Powerful T. have some wicked synths and very nice vocals, new Manuel and Ace and Leslie parrish are super-sweet, and that remix of Dragosta Din Tae sounds way better than any version of the song, even the original. Thas what i call a good SEB :D

SEB 154 review

Post by beat freak » 22 Jan 2005, 17:50

I got my CD in the mail today (woo hoo).

1) O-zone ZZZZZ this mix offers nothing new to this song.
2) Manuel - All The Best Man this is the future of eurobeat. Fantastic powerful upbeat dramatic fun track. They also bring back some great drum sounds from the 80's that I haven't heard used in a while. I can hear Rick Astley singing a track like this. Manuel's voice is in great control this time. Sounds like Dave Rodgers a bit though. This one will be on the top of the best tracks of 2005 for me. 5ive *****
3) Queen 26 - All The Best WOW super cute track from Delta, written and produced by Laurent Newfield. This is a brand new sound for Delta and I hope it's a new direction. It's sounds disco house and eurobeat all the same time. 4our ****
4) Powerful T. - Original Sin Well, standard, though great Powerful T. type song. Sounds like his vocals have been pitched down just a bit. I dont' think this one will stick with me as well as some of his other tracks.
4our ****
5) Captain America - Space Fighter Ken Laszlo is back again for LED Records. This one sounds dated, though all Manic Eurobeat fans will like this one 3hree ***
6) Delta Queens - Blue What a great song from Delta. It's really messy and the synths go all over the place. Clara's on vocals. But with all the crazy synths running around and key changes, it's not a bad song.
4our ****
7) Van TK - Never Gimme Up This sounds like an A Beat C song. This is f-ing fantastic. Van TK is my favorite singer from SCP now. This one is just like his last tracks, slower, more mature, bright and shining. Love this style of music. I can see this song being played at a club, disco, lounge or block party. 5ive *****
8) Go Go Girls - I Wanna Be Fat Written by Elena Goddi Frattini is another great GGG song. Lyrics are really original. "French Fries, Milk Shake, I look at me and I feel okay". The lyrics are really about feeling good about yourself. 4our****
9) Franz Tornado - One Night With Bazooka Belly Dancers I am not a fan of HiNRG Attacks male vocalists. This one is not too bad though. The sound quality is really bad though. 3hree ***
10) Karen - She's The One WOWOWOWOW Such a classy and elegant track. Karen's voice is top notch this time. She wrote this song with Luigi and Dave. The chorus sounds a bit familiar though, but I can't place it right now. I never figure out who "She" is in the song. Not your typical Eurobeat song. 5ive *****
11) Nando - Toyboy Great intro to this song. Then it kinda falls apart but manages to pick itself back up again. The synths are a bit annoying though. Not too bad, but I love the bridge and chorus 4our ****
12) ZaZa - I Wanna Be With You 0ero
13) Symbol - Lonely Boy 1ne *
14) Leslie Perrish - No Matter What 1ne*
15) Nuage - Still Love Already heard this one before, but it's not the best Nuage track 3hree ***
16) Ace - My Valentine I'm SO in love with this track. So melodic and moving. Ace's voice is great and is very restrained. Perfect for Valentine's day. Love the lines "When the chips are down, I turn around and badly need your tender love, you'll be by my side". 5ive *****
17) Sheila - Best Time For Love 1ne* Time really needs to hang it up.
18) Freddie Rogers - Dance To The Music Well the intro is very disney sounding. You can hear Nuage on background vocals. Is this his step-mom? Freddie has a very bright career ahead of him. This is a great track. His voice hasn't broken yet. He's a great singer though and can hold his own with his mom and pop. We need a song from the entire Rodgers family now. 5ive *****

Top songs from SeB 154:

Manuel - All The Best
Van TK - Never Gimme Up
Freddie Rogers - Dance To The Music
Ace - My Valentine
Karen - She's The One
Queen 26 - Going Crazy
Nuage - Still Love
Go Go Girls - I Wanna Be Fat
