Don't think anyone has mentioned this, but SEB191 is coming out on 2008/10/1.

So you mean Avex could deny SCP songs? Does that mean that they just get resigned to some music vault never to be released (considering everyone always says that SCP cannot release music of their own back as Avex owns everything...)

Pretty much. Which sucks because I want the unreleased Mel & Kim and Kiki & Kika songs to be released >:( And for a prime example of something that will never ever get released.... Niko & Cherry - Niko Kickboxing

But do they ever accept/deny songs from other labels? The fact that they ever thought it was a good idea to release People Like Dancing on Super Eurobeat is pathetic.

EXACTLY.....and there are oh i dunno about 500 songs that absolutely sucked but avex still chose them....i think it all goes down to avex chooses what they think "japanes" crowds will like, and screw any international fans......eurobeat in general has had a HUGE international fanbase since the dawn of, well P2P, and that would be why avex puts a stopper on anything on youtube that includes their music, avex is a selfish company, why cant they share the eurobeat world wide...(or let select western/australian CD music stores sell copies)...but then again eurobeat would probably then become less interesting and become a part of the normal genres.......

avex most likely wont release several songs i have read about lately..songs from HRG, SCP, Delta, and even AbeatC.....like i said it is what they think the japanese audience would be attracted to...not us...sadly

Avex are indeed very selfish. Remember the recent incident with TIME? Perfect example.

And if Avex seriously struggles for options with A-Beat C, why can't they choose from the amalgam of unreleased productions from the 2004-06 era? I'm sure there are hundreds of better songs from A-Beat C's older catalogue than the abomination that was "True Colour" (one of the worst songs I've ever heard).

Apparently though, Japan STILL seems to quite enjoy them, even in their current hideous state. The massively overrated Rock On Fire has become quite a hit and has appeared on multiple compilaitons (even though it missed SEB 190), and 3 A-Beat C songs, all of which are in fact among the worst of the 180's, appeared on 190's top 50 mu-mo downloads disc.

Do the Japanese truly see more merit in something as disgusting as Bad Boys than they do in magnificent tracks such as The Lovebite or My Sweet Forever? It's a sad thought, really. :???:

I'm still wondering why TIME hasn't jumped on that Juno train and releaesed thier songs ? Anything to compensate lost space on SEB. Even if it's just to get back at AVEX. Either way I would come out a winner having all that TIME gold in extended 8)

hey Infinity, Has Mega NRG Man made you especially mad at him :P

Ugh, Tomas Marin has countless amounts of songs throughout his career that I consider to be real hits, but wow, the 180's were by far one of his worst decades ever imo. Even the 170's showcased a large amount of nice songs from his title (In The Sunrise, Black Jack, Rock Me, I Feel The Rhythm Tonight, and Red Light & Sex), but ever since 181 he's severely lost his touch. His performances simply ranged from just good (Up & Down, Spin Me Like A Record), to so-so (Rock On Fire, Let It Go, and Back To 80's), to poor (Catch My Fire), to absolutely dispicable (People Like Dancing, aaargh). Usually, he's always been by far one of my favorite A-Beat C males, but throughout the 180's, he wasn't much beyond just a broken record without a single song that truly grabbed my attention.

I totally agree there. Not to start anything up, but I think a change in labels might ressurrect Thomas's Eurobeat spirit. I don't mean a similiar sound like Go Go's, but a total shift at his usual sound. DELTA, TIME or maybe even HRG Attack. Imagine his vocals on a DIMA record.

What do you guys think?
