Some songs are very emotional, but i wouldn't listen if they depress me.
One song with special meaning to me is
I've Got The Music In My Heart by Kelly Wright!

Many Delta songs from the era when Newfield was absent, such as Victim and Without You.
Norma Sheffield - Waiting for You seems to be about the end of the relationship from the previous two songs in the Euromach 3 mix (Karen - Everlasting Love and Valentina - I Wanna Live). Do label medleys on Euromach/nonstops sometimes seem to follow an ongoing theme to you?

i personaly thought frontal impact had realy energetic pwer to it untill i listen to it more, and my heart radio to me is daniel singing about a love he lost and everytime he listens to the radio (to a certain song) his lost love is with him. i have to say i do love this little story of his...it always makes me feel bubly when i her my heart radio....my mum even has it on her Ipod...
i find normas songs more boring, some i would say areetty, but not depressing,
dark angels : right now was more a refreshing essence to me, i loved the dark death metalish sounds.
"dont say goodbye" alwayts makes me feel sad....has anyone heard the ballad version its slower no bass beat and it always gives me warms fuzzies.....its on the end (in the credits of gazen ParaPara DVD....the second last one....i think...
anywhi thats my thoughts on this...i will have to go into my ipod to find more i feel have more meaning/sad tone to them.....
oh in the first post "harry ken's - Streetboy is about a male prostitute...isnt it...well i always thought it was...
LYRICS
I spend all my nights
In love hotel
There all the people buy or sell
I pay for love to feel all right
Tonight
I really wanna get my love
You're walking down the streets now
I cry for love tonight my baby
C'mon baby close the light
Street boy, street boy
You can be a sex toy sex joy
Love machine c'mon
Beat boy, beat boy
I pay to make me feel love, c'mon
Street boy, street boy
You can be a sex toy sex joy
Love machine c'mon
Beat boy, beat boy
I pay to make me feel love
after reading this do you feel the same way? and if so does this make harry Ken gay? i think its cute

Somewhat of a different tangent, but Gianni Coraini(as Otello) also did a song called Street Boy on the Europanic series(rereleased on Eurobeat Super Collection). He's done quite a few other gay-themed songs (Hey Hey Guy of course, Bad Boy Can Believe Me, Valentino Samurai), but doesn't seem to have admitted to being gay. You think he is?

It would be nice if this were still the 80s when the manliest of the manly could sing about sexually ambiguous things and having it simply written off as 'the style'.

hmmm, is Andrea/Girbaudo/Rick Castle actually gay? The recent song Bad Boy's lyrics sounds like it. Was this the reason for Monica's departure from Hi-NRG Attack ? Also, do you think Super Super Girl/Doll Sisters sounds like a lesbian song?

Just because they're referring to someone of the same gender in the chorus doesn't mean it's a gay/lesbian song. They could even be referring to themselves occasionally. Super Super Girl and especially Valentino Samurai by no means have any relationship to homosexuality whatsoever.
A few eurobeat songs that I'm pretty sure are homosexual are Without U / Niki Niki, In The Stars / Mako, Sexy Ladie (Over And Over) / Jilly, and Dom Dom / Tommie B.

The Bemani(DDR, Beatmania, etc) J-Euro songs Pink Rose and Ever Snow are quite depressing, anyone have translations of the lyrics?
Two more depressing DDR "hyper eurobeat" songs: Memories and Destiny.

For some reason or another 1000's of Italo/NRG and Eurobeat songs have gay/lebian themes. That doesn't mean the they are singing from the heart.
Would you like Eurobeat any less if they were? NO! so squash it!

Who cares if a singer is gay or not? Doesn't make the song any better or worse. Doesn't identify you with singer anymore... who cares and what does it matter?

well i wanna add since i seem to have opened this way up....I DONT THINK ANYONE CARE REGARDLESS IF THE SONGS ARTISTS ARE GAY (aimed at drnrg) its more a fun topic, also i would hope some of the artists and producers are gay....maybe thats why the songs are so CAMP in many ways, and besides eurobeat at times isnt the most masculine genre even when sung by men, but again i dont think anyone cares,..gay people rock anyways...

Cody - Die Die: about his sister or girlfriend dying it seems, and she's going to hell for what she did. The singer is a different one from the normal Cody; is it still a tribute?
