Delta seems to be exploring new musical territories nowadays
http://www.myspace.com/deltapopmusic
I'm wondering whether they are producing any of this stuff themselves, or are they just going to act as a go-between?

Pretty repetitive music. I really think they're a lot more creative when they're making eurobeat.

You've based this entirely off 30-second samples. 2/4 of the tracks only previewed the chorus, so of course it's going to sound "repetitive" if you loop it. Don't knock down the tracks until you've heard them in their entireties.
I'm unsure why they don't release the full versions on the MySpace player though. Most pop artists do this already...

I often do tend to like songs more once I hear their full cut, but the sample can still give you the general perspective of the entire song, and in this case I really just wasn't drawn in very much and found the songs to be generic when compared to far more aesthetic tracks such as Fever and Yes I Will.

To my relief, it was actually very tastefully done. Though, my thoughts on the songs:
*Naked: Lyrically juuuuuust shy of highest quality.
*Belong To Love: Odd Beach Boys vibe to it. The only problem is, it sounds a bit dated for current pop music.
*Boogie Night: Sounds like Earth, Wind & Fire... not like current/contemporary Pop. Fun and catchy, but certainly NOT recent pop.
*Ex Best Friend: Unusually well-done. I applaud Delta on this song in particular-- it could, if the rest of the song is much like the clip, market darn near anywhere it chooses to.
A lot's changed in the decade and a half I've been here.

i thought belong to love sounded like a back street boys song, or a song that T.E.A.M (korean boy band) would have sung
kinda reminded me of late 90's pop

Agreed. Delta Pop sounds juuuuust a bit dated (seeing as current pop borrows more cues from Hip Hop, Rap and R&B; Delta Pop takes cues from the 90's back when American Pop actually involved more MUSIC). Granted, however, it's legitimately good enough to sell well even here in the USA.

yeah it does have a standard of quality that could be sold commercially but i dont think it would have that extra oomph to last long...not like eurobeat, as eurobeat evolves it moves through the times, but that sort of pop kinda died with britany, and spears innocence and most boy bands...
but i would like to hear more having said that as i cant fully judge it bassed on 30 sec samples, thats just an opinion based on what i have

Interesting...... props for trying something new!
I can't help but suspect this is a little foreboding about the death of the super eurobeat series...
