1.HURRY UP HURRY UP / LOLITA
http://www.avexnet.or.jp/avexdb/supereu ... 91_001.asx
ZOUP'S COMMENTARY: GGM Fare... something sounds unusually formulaic about this one, as if they were trying too hard. As well, I really. REALLY. Think GGM should drop the soft-sounding synths and use something more solid, rhythmic, ripping. Not a BAD sample, but not a GREAT one either.

2.MANGA SUPER ROBOT / BABBY ONE
http://www.avexnet.or.jp/avexdb/supereu ... 91_002.asx
ZOUP'S COMMENTARY: Link broken; however, I already know this is a great song.

3.RUNAWAY / LEO RIVER
http://www.avexnet.or.jp/avexdb/supereu ... 91_003.asx
ZOUP'S COMMENTARY: Chorus has my attention!! Sounds like GGM, but they really made this one hit hard! I may have to buy this song when it's released.

4.RIDE ON MY SPEEDY CAR / GARCON
http://www.avexnet.or.jp/avexdb/supereu ... 91_004.asx
ZOUP'S COMMENTARY: Hmm. Solid chorus, Garcon sounds a bit less nasally (THANK GOD). Synth riff sound's pretty nice.

5.LOOKING FOR LOVERS / DUCKY CHIX
http://www.avexnet.or.jp/avexdb/supereu ... 91_005.asx
ZOUP'S COMMENTARY: GREAT vocals. And, once again, a "shiny" soundworld, with an underwhelming synth riff. Juuuuust above "meh"-worthy.

6.INTO THE GAME / POWERFUL T.
http://www.avexnet.or.jp/avexdb/supereu ... 91_006.asx
ZOUP'S COMMENTARY: This one's mixed unusually. Synth riff's... okay from what I could hear. ABeatC manages to pull off an okay song this run.

7.A NEVERENDING NIGHT / MICKEY B.
http://www.avexnet.or.jp/avexdb/supereu ... 91_007.asx
ZOUP'S COMMENTARY: VERY well-mixed. Has a weird ABeatC-ish vibe to it, but in a good way.

8.KISS ME DIVINE / MARK FOSTER
http://www.avexnet.or.jp/avexdb/supereu ... 91_008.asx
ZOUP'S COMMENTARY: Huh. Unusually high vocals for Mauro, though something sounds like Tokyo Tonight in the chorus. Synth riff did NOT impress me, from what I could hear.

9.WILDLIFE / JAY LEHR
http://www.avexnet.or.jp/avexdb/supereu ... 91_009.asx
ZOUP'S COMMENTARY: Can you imaaaaaagiiiiii-- wait. Wrong song. Synth riff sounds promising.

10.MY GASOLINE / DANIEL
http://www.avexnet.or.jp/avexdb/supereu ... 91_010.asx
ZOUP'S COMMENTARY: Something about the chorus sounds sloppy. Synth riff sounds SUPER promising though.

11.FANTASY WORLD / ANNALISE
http://www.avexnet.or.jp/avexdb/supereu ... 91_011.asx
ZOUP'S COMMENTARY: Oh? Doesn't quite have that "echo" or "shine" I expect lately. But... it still sounds pretty solid. Typical, above-mediocre Annalise fare, at least worth the download.

12.PURPLE EMOTION / GO 2
http://www.avexnet.or.jp/avexdb/supereu ... 91_012.asx
ZOUP'S COMMENTARY: Ballads tend to risk being awful... I can't make my mind up about this one though. I at least need a piece of the synth riff before I decide.

13.GOT TO BE CERTAIN / CHERRY
http://www.avexnet.or.jp/avexdb/supereu ... 91_013.asx
ZOUP'S COMMENTARY: WHOA! It's the early 90's all of a sudden! Very cute. Sounds influenced by Delta Pop in a way.
From what I'm hearing/guessing, this is gonn'a be a solid album at best, a ho-hum album at worst. Unless one of those songs really blows my mind apart on release day, sounds pretty much like a step in the right direction for the new SEB route but not exactly a jump.
A lot's changed in the decade and a half I've been here.

The routine is what makes Purple Emotion a much better song for me :P The dance is pretty well fit for the song and it has unique qualities like the "night & day" move and the some of the moves in the amelo.

and i dunno, but i think that the sabi and intro to looking for lovers kind of seems like an early hrg song, particularly love on internet. I get that feel whenever I listen to that song for some reason, but I think I'm just crazy D:

and just like magic they are up. This is one of the highlights of any month for me.

Mini mini sample review.

1. Lollita- Hurry Up. It's a good thing GGM have two traz, cuz I'm not liking this too much.
:(

2. Babby One- Magna Super Robot- This has been on my Top 10 a few TIMES. I still love it
:)

3. Leo River- Runaway- Second GGM. Completely blown away like I was with Red Like & Sex. I wish they stick to this sound. His vocals don't sound to high pitched whickh I like, and still gits NRG
:)

4. Garcon- Ride In My Speedy Car- Kinda sounds like he is singing while going 2000 mph. I hate his vocals this time and the song, aside form the hook isn't too great. Every line in the chorus sounds like it ends with the same word? Maybe it will sound better at full listen
:(

5. Ducky Chix- Looking For Lovers- Still not impressed with Sinclaire's soundworlds, but the synth riff is sounding more alive this time
:|

6. Powerful T. -Into The Game- I wish Dave had sang this himself. It's full of Old Italo style melody. Great job.
:)

7. Micky B.- A Never Ending Night- Great sounding comeback for Micky B.
:)

8. Mark Foster- Kiss Me Divine- Allready Have it, but I still like the reinvented riff.
:)

9. Jay Lehr- Wilf Life- I love this guy's vocals. They are so different from anyone elese. Definately one of my favs
:)

10. Daniel- My Gasoline- Without TIME on board I knew I could count on Newfield. One word...AWESOME
:)

11. Annalise- Fantasy World- Sounds sweet. I wish for harder sounding soundworlds, but still sounding Italo
:)

12. Go2- Purple Emotion- Where Jay Lehr scores, Go2 fails. What is Purple Emotion? Blue Balls :P
:(

13. Cherry- Gotta Be Certain- You can be Certain Newfield dishes out a great remake.
:)

9 smiley faces out of 13. Sounds like a good cd to the Doc. I still gotta hear that Garcon track in it's entirety, cuz I'm surprised that I'm not initially loving it. Thier are only about a handful of track that would inspire driving out of me, so the theme is all wrong.

1.HURRY UP HURRY UP / LOLITA
Hayaku, hayaku! Nanishiteru no?
Lebon taking Japanese courses? Nah.
This song doesn't sound bad, it isn't the best either.
:|

2.MANGA SUPER ROBOT / BABBY ONE
Listened to the megamix version before... This is a good song, not the best either. :)

3.RUNAWAY / LEO RIVER
Very surprised to this song. Probably my hit for 191. :D

4.RIDE ON MY SPEEDY CAR / GARCON
Extremely surprised from this Garçon song. Its vocals seems more mixed with the song. :D

5.LOOKING FOR LOVERS / DUCKY CHIX
Ratter surprised. This song is way better than the other that were previously released. :)

6.INTO THE GAME / POWERFUL T.
Liked the preview. Liked the FXs used. :)

7.A NEVERENDING NIGHT / MICKEY B.
This song would be better if it was a pinch better ;) But, hey, it' still good. :)

8.KISS ME DIVINE / MARK FOSTER
I like it in a way, but I don't in the other... I'm kinda divided. :|

9.WILDLIFE / JAY LEHR
I hoped for another "I'm Alive". I guess it's not the same fare... again. :(

10.MY GASOLINE / DANIEL
This time around, the vocals aren't the problem. Rather the soundworld and general sounding... :(

11.FANTASY WORLD / ANNALISE
FAILURE. :ew:

12.PURPLE EMOTION / GO 2
I said it earlier :ew:

13.GOT TO BE CERTAIN / CHERRY
WTF IS THAT? This isn't sounding like Eurobeat at all. Where's the synth hook? Is it me or I heard a direct transition between the chorus and the second verse? Anyway : :ew:

It's a remake of a pop song from Kylie Minouge. Pop songs don't follow the same formula as Eurobeat. It's not your style anyway.

Nah, I totally agree with Lebon..
Track 10,11,13 are just shitty..

Purple Emotions has the ''Music Come'on! - style''.
Anyways, I was expecting something more agressive.
I was hoping for a SpitFire style!
Anyways, they didn't really disappoint me, I'll wait with saying more things about the song, until I hear the full versions.

I'm now waiting for the SEB192 samples, It has to be a much better CD than 191 :P

For those who don't listen to SEPH... XP

Leo River is Freddy's friend; the song was made in July and AVEX liked it so much that they wanted it on SEB right away. It's a kick assss song.

The samples really disappointed me. I only liked the Leo River and Garcon tracks. :???:

Then again, I've grown bored of eurobeat recently.

Seems like Runaway is a classic in the making, even just judging from these initial first impressions. It's rare that a song is loved by the entire community - can't wait to hear the full version!

Cover or not, Newfield (or whatever other Delta producer) could have put some more Eurobeat vibe to it.

Hehe :D From all samples I liked Got To Be Certain most! Cause it is classic melody with perfect Clara vocals))) I can say her voice fits this song more then Kylie's 8)
