Some new Eurobeat/Techno productions

Post by MesdoramElmdor » 14 Nov 2008, 06:07

Hi! I've been working on some new Eurobeat and Techno productions recently

I have samples of them up on my myspace

http://www.myspace.com/johndtrax

They're both pretty rough cuts. The Eurobeat samples lacks vocals and I didn't add in a melody yet. I plan on working on that more this week.

Anyways, leave me some feedback! Thanks!

You have the right idea! You have the bass in the right spots, meaning you dodged a common pitfall in upcoming Eurobeat musicians.
Something about the synth riff sounds almost too trance-y; I know that's sort of a strange thing to say, but the synth riff has a certain... lack of busy-ness to it. I mean, with the right sound that'd be a good Saifam riff, but the synth riff as it stands is a tad sparse. Other than that, exquisite (if lacking vocals).

You've got a good thing goin', man.

Yeah, I definitely know what you mean. I plan on working on it more tomorrow and later on this week. Thanks for the feedback!

Worked up another small sample today. I'm working more on trying to create those genuine eurobeat soundworlds right now much more than I'm trying to actually complete tracks. I think I'm making progress. Give it a listen! It's called Euro Demo 3. It's the first track that plays when you go to my page. Thanks!

Okay. I have more advice.

The next step?

Make an extended version using the Eurobeat formula (you can find it on Wikipedia). Meaning, MAKE MORE! That sounded fantastic!

I can put together a rough instrumental version but i really have no recording setup for vocals plus I'm not much of a singer =[

I will try to further my work, though. Thanks for the compliments!
