That actually sounds like a fairly long time. Would you like anyone to help you release the compilation?
If anything, advice. I need to string them together somehow, but I imagine just hopping onto a mic and saying "HI THIS IS TEH EXTENDIDZ" and then playing the extendeds, then saying "AN TIHS IS TEH NONSTOP" and then playing the nonstops, is not enough. Should I have some snazzy intro?
Also posting the podcast in a way that if we wanted to make another one confuses me. RSS feeds? 3rd party hosts for the file? Confused as hell.
In short, how should I go about making this a good podcast?

Like I said, talk to Jayveemon. I believe was interested in doing the podcast. I'm sure he'd like to do it with you. Hell, if you want all of the people that worked on this project would probably be willing to record together.
Maybe you could do away with the extended mix and instead...
1. Introduce the song coming up
2. A little bit of flavor talk
3. Play song
4. Talk about the song
Rinse and repeat.
Let me know if that sounds like a good idea. We could hold a pre-podcast just to mess around and talk and see how good (or bad) we are at doing that. The SEPH folks are pretty good at what they do so... talk to them too!

Adding commentary to the extended versions (pre-song), is there anything about your song(s) you'd like said? Otherwise I'll be kind but do things my way.

If you could present my track from the DTZ Project "stable" (that's like my "label" name) and obviously mention the producer/songwriter and vocalist (I'm sure you are familiar with who they are!

)
Looking forward to it matey

I'd like it if you introduced my songs as remixes from "The Paradise Last" which happens to be my label name.
Hm... that's about it I guess.

My software's really giving me trouble, I may need to use an alternate method of stringing this podcast together (Audacity is REALLY giving me trouble).
Sorry, it'll take a bit longer. My comp is just not taking the stress very well at all.

If you want you can send me commentary and I'll plug it into a full mp3. Just tell me where to put them.

Truly still working on these... this week could be the break I've needed (got the house to myself for the next... 4 days now) to get things done.

Which would be preferred for the in-betweens of the Extendeds:
*A dry reading of the song title and artist
or
*Banter between the speakers (in my case, 'myself' and 'the announcer')?
The latter is what I'm working on, but it'll take longer.
I can work on the shorter one and have it done, but it could be boring.

A bit of banter would be good - if you were just to have the title and artist, then you may as well just release a zip of the extended tracks as it wouldn't really add anything of merit.
That's my personal opinion.
