If it becomes 80s style eurobeat then I'll officially stop caring about SEB

All this talk about the post-200 SEBs made me have a dream where some SEB in the future came out. All the songs sounded like italo with a ton of guitars in it, like 4 on the floor italo rock. If that's the future, I have to say I don't mind.

A return to Italo style would make a good album concept, maybe even two. But to radically shift the sound of Super Eurobeat right after 200 would be to ask Eurobeat as a style to devolve. Eurobeat has sped up and roughened up compared to Italo Disco. Like it or not, that's just how it is. Some revived Italo FLAVORS are always welcome, and an album of it to remember the early days by would be fantastic. But to change the rest of SEB would be a dumb, dumb, DUMB move by Avex, and the final nail in their already tight coffin.

I interpreted it as either Euromach songs (3.5 boom) or 2nd boom songs like Supersonic Love / Mike Hammer. Those kinds of styles :D

Wouldn't it be lovely if Avex got the smart idea to release euromach extends as a whole cd on 198 or 199?

not going to happen since you can tell that they avoided releasing them this time around on the special collections :P

I can think of a couple of slower 90's sounding songs from DELTA that were exceptionally great. Tonight Tonight and Italo Beat Boy.

Anyway ,I think it's just a theme for another SEB, but it would be very interesting to see the labels put out some slower, but catchy songs for at least one SEB :)

I damn well hope so. Avex would do well to have at least one album of returning to the basics, but not an entire shift.

(Yes, I'm repeating it a lot. I like to imagine avex actually reads these boards so they'll GET THE HINT of what I'm suggesting.)

It's difficult to tell, but I doubt that they are trying to create an entire shift over to slower eurobeat. It seems more likely that a few songs in particular will appear in that style.

I suppose you could speculate that it could be theme for an SEB 20X album, but but I always assumed this theme game would only last throughout the 190s.

Romeo is an Asia alias - he had that awesome track Stormy Weather that featured on one of the FARM compilations...

More than likely that Romeo is Delta (Game Over singer)

Where the hell did this rumor come from?

9LoveJ recently taught a track by that name and its supposedly from Akyr but from what I heard it's supposed to be on Dancemania Presents Natsu Monogatari 2009... at least it's listed for it's DVD.
