Looking forward to it - will be interesting to see how the comments compare to the "big guns" on 196 :P

Lebon - I can understand your point of view, but from a producer's (amateur producer's :P ) standpoint, I can appreciate the hours and hours of pain-staking work that goes into producing these tracks, so I can find merit and appeal in every fanmade track produced (even if they cannot rival the professionals for sound).

Still, I think I've said before that I want to have my own sound rather than attempt to recreate someone else's sound. At the end of the day, I just love the buzz that you get when you've finished a song and you can sit back with a sense of pride and achievement. :)

Also, thank you for your feedback RAINBOWDRAGONEYES - if I'm honest, the mix between the track and the vocals is what gave me the biggest headache, and I still haven't got it completely right. So don't think that your comments have gone unnoticed - I'm hoping to get a better balance between the vocals and the mix on my next track.

Rainbowdragoneyes: A bit disappointed by your comments - why are the "progressions" flawed and why exactly doesn't the vocal melody make sense to you? :( Does the track sound out-of-tune or something?

Interested to hear the comments from SEPH though - I hope you guys liked my song.

#Infinity, don't be discouraged! If I am not mistaken, this is your first production? If so, very well done. I'll be damned if anyone ever gets to hear my "first" stuff.

When I say progressions, I mean the chord changes that make the foundation of the song. I had to go back and re-listen to the track to make sure I don't just sound like a dick.

Your verse is good. The transition into the prechorus is a little abrubt, and the melody kind of jumps around a little too much to be captivating. The chorus is the least-good, it doesn't resolve very well at all and just didn't jump out and smack me in the face like it should have.

Your synth riff is actually very good, but I don't think the key change halfway through does it justice, it feels like it kind of trails off. If you repeat the first part twice instead of trying to change it up I think it will be more effective.

Also tell your singer to grow some balls and grab em real hard when she sings!

Yeah, this was both mine and #Infinity's first productions (I've messed about with ideas for a while, but this was my first full track) so I think the tracks sound pretty good. I can only imagine how amazing they'll sound with a couple of years experience!! :D

Just kidding of course...but I'm definitely impressed by the musicality shown by everyone that took part in the podcast.

Well congrats to both of you, very very well done for a first track. Keep it up both of you, if there is one thing I've learned its the more you do anything the better you get at it.

I wanted to post Burn My Heart on YouTube, so I made a little video montage thing to showcase it to the world!

Check it out here - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=whRT50pl8EA

Comments are always welcome both here and on YouTube. It's not breaking any music video boundaries, but it makes my track a bit more public at least. ;)

Just listened to the SEPH Episode 30 podcast, and it was cool to have the plug for the Underground Eurobeat compilation. Still have no idea what Javy, Jorge and Phil actually thought of the tracks, but hey ho!

And thanks to Lebon for the mad props in my YouTube video comments - I'm glad you seem to enjoy the track so much
