Sugano: Independent Youtube Eurobeat label?
Ah yeah I am sure you learnt your lesson there with the whole Ordeal with Full Metal Cars on Delta's myspaceLebon14 wrote:he is independant so at least, they are free. Happy?
He's rather good for someone that makes Eurobeat with limited material.
His website is in English O_O
P.S Didn't rip anything from youtube neither didn't keep his songs.

I REPEAT.
I-T I-S N-O-T M-E. It was a chinese dude called leon_guan on idw that ripped it out and put it up for download.
I remember that time. I remember going on Delta's myspace to have a listen to Super Rider and Full Metal Cars. But I never ever ripped it and so I never put it up to download.

Some of those songs are really good.
I got a really heavy ABeatC vibe from Lost In A Dream. The Intro especially reeks of Giancarlo's style, but in a great way. When I say great, I mean the Guitars of course. Sounds like it could be a duet between Dave and Norma.
Season is also a nice tune. I got a feeling that Clara could sing this one, but somhow it couls also be sung by male vocals. Perhaps Jay Lehr or Rick Castle?
Foxy Sexy Lady is a bit misleading with that title I expected something way more aggresssive not just the synths being pounded. This song sounds perfect for 90's style Eurobeat. Perhaps something with the piano influences of Fred Ventura. The synths sound alot like 90's TIME as well. This could be that long lost Morena song
Now here is a tune a really enjoyed. It's called Eyes. This round he seems to take on a little of DELTA's style. Jimmy Diamond could take on the vocals. Funny thing is that it also has that HiSite sound of Europanic series.
Next came Battle Stage. The first thing I noticed was that accomanying guitar during the verses and soundsed alot like DELTA style for an Old Skool Mad Max song. Come to think of it, so did the bass.
Maybe Tonight was written for Norma or even Nuage. Even the title fits thier style. Old Skool AbeatC to my ears.
I wanted to heart Crazy For Love because of that famouse burnt out title. This one was probobly my favourit out of all of them. The intro was very Eurogrooves like and I was anticipating some awesome riff. Awesome riff it has, but the style kinda turns DELTA. Something Nando might sing. Still whenever I hear those quickly inserted jolted Synth chords I'm right back in Dall Ora territoy.
Still alot of songs to sample, but this guy could easily find work at one of the top labels. At least that's my opinion. You can tell this guy has been listening to Eurobeat for years.

I dunno would he even want credit for Dark And Bright. If I was Mako I'd be embarassed for singing it.

Good stuff. I wonder why amateur/bedroom producers are so rare in eurobeat, and why the genre still clings on to the "big producer in a fancy studio owned by a label produces everything" thing while most other genres of dance music are made primarily by bedroom producers and labels are more for marketing/distrobution.
I think it's because Eurobeat is :glottis5 wrote:Good stuff. 1. not the most common genre, right?
2. hard to produce : you need a lot of equipment while easy music creating software such Dance Ejay 7 doesn't have/make eurobeat soundworlds. So, it's limiting it a lot.
Of course, if someone REALLY wants to make Eurobeat, then, nothing can stop him/her.

You don't need a lot of equipment. Just DAW+Midi-keyboard and some neat VST's. But first.. avoid Dance Ejay at any cost.. it's utter crap anyway you look at it.
But that went bit off topic. Anyhow welcome to Eurobeat-Prime Sugano, i sure enjoyed your works.

The voice on that first song sounds oddly familiar... :Pzoupzuop2 wrote:Hey guys, Sugano's still going! Check out his newest.
