Don't think so. They advertise with these 'big booklets' of theirs more often, like some Campus Summit thing they released 2 years ago. 32 pages isn't _that_ much, maybe twice the size of a normal SEB booklet. ;X
Wow, was there even such a hueg ammount of j-euro released? ;|

OH...MY...GOSH!!!
This compilation has Running In The 90's, Not For Sale, and Dark In The Night? I'M SOOO EXCITED!!!
Aside from Disc 1 being even more predictable than I expected, this anniversary album doesn't even have any new tracks. Would've been nice to have gotten an early treat after a nice half-year plus wait for another proper release of SEB (yay for Special Collections, I guess)...

I find it funny that the song order is in decades, yet the last few tracks are from the 180s/190s then BOOM, Mickey Mouse March! Looked through the list many times but no songs from the 170s is interesting. I'm liking the 100 track megamix though. I go giddy for this and Super Euro Best 100.

Date pushed back to January.
Anticipation and rumors flow.
Just to have... nothing new.
Not a single.
New.
Song.
...
...now, I don't mind megamixes, or even anniversary hijinx. Had 200 been released at its first date I wouldn't have minded.
...but it shouldn't have taken THIS long just to rehash everything. For this much more time the fans deserve infinitely better. Forget me TOUCHING SEB 200. I'll pick up 201, maybe. 7A, if you want to explain this to us, consider my ears willing to hear (my eyes willing to read?). Otherwise, my trust in Super Eurobeat's current direction is critically damaged.
A lot's changed in the decade and a half I've been here.

I think it would've been more interesting if Avex had selected one song from every SEB album and created two complete 100-track megamixes out of them (minus the decade albums and non-stops; some brand new tracks could've filled up the remaining spots).
But this doesn't seem interesting whatsoever. Avex have pretty much excluded everything between 171-199 with four exceptions. Not impressed.

I swear to God I had the same idea for my own megamix once!
Now I'm going a different direction for my own fan-made 20th anniversary mix...

Seriously guys, after what we just heard about SEB 200, you have got to let me post the result here when it's time.

...what part of 20th anniversary do you guys not understand? Why the hell would they include new songs in a compilation that's meant to be the best of the past 20 years?
This release does have all the epic songs from yesteryear. It's not a new Chozen ParaPara or normal SEB release. You guys had your new songs on Best of SEB '09.
Now stop complaining, and just buy this piece of eurobeat history!

It's pretty much expected that anniversary albums are going to have lots of rehashes, but if they really wanted to live up to this milestone, Avex should've really taken this release a lot further and made it a lot more special than just another generic anniversary release with nothing special about it aside from the fact that it's 200, especially considering how cold they've left most of their hardcore fans over the past half-year. Having a well-integrated 20th anniversary theme would've been one thing, but just using the same, overplayed, repetitive tracks that can be found on just about any other decade release and without any novelty to their usage (aside from the songs being generally chronologically-ordered, but that's not new) is just plain lazy and to me shows that Avex had very little care about what could've been a massive celebration that might've even revived eurobeat's dying fanbase.

I agree that they've could done it a bit more special. Like, unreleased versions of these epic songs, or whatever. Or not, because that would make everyone say avex sucks even more for removing all those awesome tracks from a final release. ;P
But come on, we know avex longer than just today... 20 years, to be exact. You could've seen this coming.

i agree this is dissapointing but i am with MKwiakaku,
its a part of SEB history either buy it..or dont, there is no use bitching about avex as in the last year or so avex has disappointed us over and over again with track list cuts, crappy megamix cd fillers and shitty extends that are only like 30-40 seconds of extra sound...
i think avex has aimed this in a japanese dirrection thinking having all the japanese songs on CD might help sales in japan (and to avex thats all that matters) even though SEB has a huge world wide following (me from australia) they dont seem to care about the outside world, i will still buy it as i need to have all the SEB's as an obsessive compulsive collecting disorder haha

'sparkling jacket artwork'
That's our gift for ordering the first press edition. It's not much, but it didn't cost you anything more so don't start complaining about it. >: (!

Maybe it would've been nice for Avex to show us they've changed their ways with this release, but evidently not. That doesn't instil much hope for the future.
I don't recall me or others "bitching" about the tracklist; I merely suggested a way that might've added some originality or spice to what is otherwise just another bland decade album. That isn't even worth an illegal download in my eyes, but I know others feel much differently and will continue to support 7A at whatever the price. Besides, telling us to not "bitch" (a dysphemism for "discuss") pretty much kills off all discussion, and this forum thrives off just that.
