Hope they add a AAA remix in 202 cause their songs in 200 were really good.

Although eurobeat did start off in the slower bpm range (130~140BPM), I don't think that's what they mean by that.
It seems something more along the lines of returning to a period where eurobeat was arguably its strongest (during the late 90's~early 00's) and emulating/redefining that kind of sound.

The BPM is still up-to-date, from what I can see from the tracklist.
A lot's changed in the decade and a half I've been here.

The BPM of the 201 songs, ya I think so... those probably will be up-to-date, since Mr. Moog's song was made 6 months ago.

I think the BPM will slow down at 202 , Avex has begun requesting slow songs (140BPM)

140s isn't so bad. I was scared that it would boring slow like the italo days of around 120-130BPM.

I think the BPM for the songs on 201 should be 201BPM, then on 202 it should all be 202BPM

The song I heard was a bit more pop/dance style (the riff only).
I don't think we can expect very aggressive songs at 140BPM, but I'm sure we won't be disappointed. 140BPM is still good..
But I hope it won't be around 120/130 bpm, because that might a a little bit too slow. :P

Goddammit man, that's EXACTLY what I'm hoping they DO do. XD
It's pretty surprising to see a community for such a specific genre so divided over small differences in style (ayshu [or whatever the hell Norma Sheffield and the like's music is called] and aggressive).

@Ryosuke
And this kind of Soft-Eurobeat is exactly what I like as well!

Dream was 135BPM, the song that's now being made 140BPM. :)

I love this slower kind of Eurobeat but like anything else everyting is good in moderation.

Is it that hard to have a little bit of everything as opposed to having surges of one type of thing for a given period of time? This way it's harder to get sick of one type of thing and those divided about the types of Eurobeat they like can all be satisfied!

The late 80's and early 90's were the best. Especially songs like Shock Me- Mike Hammer, Love Love- Queen Of Time, Gino Caria- Hold The Line, Dr. Money- Señorita,Alphatown- Japan Japan, Malcome J. Hill- Fantasy. That period was and will always be the best for me. 8)
