NASHVILLE, TN, USA - MOST EXTREME RELEASE PARTY

Post by MAGIC HAMMER » 26 Feb 2010, 18:41

SUP GUYS

a very special event is happening in my hometown. It is this:

<img src="http://i856.photobucket.com/albums/ab12 ... MH3_14.jpg">

This evening will mark the official release date for the album MOST EXTREME ULTIMATE THUNDER. The Hammer is performing alongside Makeup and Vanity Set (aka MAVS, who remixed Dance On Fire for the album, who is also releasing an album) and also some really really really awesome chiptune bands, on tour throughout the South of America en route to SXSW.

There will be special guest singers, and ParaPara dancing by local crew Para2Mahou!!! (www.Para2Mahou.com). There will also be a video crew filming the entire set to capture all the pure unbridled awesomeness.

FB event has more info: http://bit.ly/9MDOPr

If anyone was ever planning a trip to Nashville, this would be the weekend to do it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Really super pumped for this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The flyer is pretty wicked XD

Also, big up to Magic Hammer now having their tracks officially choreographed for Para Para! This means your music is going to be even more recognized where the Eurobeat scene is biggest, Japan 8)

Perhaps. But so far I'm not doing too bad here in the US with all the rock n roll kids. And I'm okay with that for right now. Honestly I'm a little disappointed (only a little, I'm a tough guy ;)) with the lack of response from the eurobeat community. Mainly because I see all these topics and questions about the future of eurobeat, what's gonna happen, where's it going, etc-- and I present you all with something very fresh, new, and exciting, where's the love??????

PartyParty is the new ParaPara. See you around.

Your post didn't really enlighten us as to what this event is all about. In fact, if you didn't post this in the eurobeat discussion forum, I wouldn't have guessed the event was eurobeat related at all. I don't recognise the names of any of the people playing either.

Tell us how this is fresh, new and exciting, and how the event aims to revitalise eurobeat. Maybe then you'll elicit more interest from the rest of us.

Definitely didn't mean to sound quite so pompous with my last post, ah the internet

I wasn't referring to this event (or myself) to single-handedly revitalize eurobeat, by any stetch. That's just silly. Also that's not my mission. Also also, my background as a musician consists of playing and touring around in metal and rock bands. So, my original vision for this project (and the only thing that has remained consistent from the beginning) was to present this music in a much different light and to a much different audience than it currently sees. More than likely if you ask anyone who lives around here what eurobeat is, they haven't a clue. But if you ask them if they like to party, or even know how to party, you might get a much different answer.

LOVE YOU GUYS
