i am more refering to members who review a song with 2 words that are just opinions rather than a review such as
"Terrible song "

That's a nice quote, but if you read my review carefully, you can see that the comments on other songs are more comprehensive. And that's the same for other reviews I see here. Apparently there is no positive thing to say about a song with such a comment. Maybe you should read this as "bad lyrics, vocals, synths, music"

As to why the grades may be lower than the grades by some other reviewers: I don't give grades relative to the album. I grade relative to the (enourmous) eurobeat library. In other words, even though Technological World is the best song on the album (for me), I can't give it a 10 if I think that Wargames or Bad Desire are much better.

These arnt reviews, they are just personal opinions a good reviewist goes into detail about the song, and its not about what they expect from the artist because a previous song was good, or the artist has a good rep in good songs

Even so, if people like to express their personal opinions, they can do it. I don't see why anyone should be forced to write good reviews (as you call them) or not write at all.

I'll do like I was asked and won't review this album.

Will say that only songs on this album that deserve any kind of praise are Dreamlover, Go Shinkansen!, My Hot Guitar and Hide & Seek. Sadly the J-Euro songs have lately been better than the eurobeat songs.

For what it's worth, I can kind of see why you wouldn't really care for the album that much, based on your general tastes in eurobeat. Like, Eurogrooves and Saifam were easily the strongest labels for me on 202, but I know you're not a big fan of either of them, although I will say this - although I agree that most of Saifam's recent material is pretty bland, you gotta at LEAST admit that Technological World stands out compared to other Saifam releases. Whether or not it's that good a song, it's at least creative, and I personally don't see how you could rate it as low as the dull Never Ending Love.

Other than Technological World, there are a large handful of tracks I do enjoy a lot, but I wouldn't be surprised to see you rate low. If anything, I'm actually surprised that Dreamlover is one of the few songs worth mentioning.

i see your point, i am not saying dont express an opinion, (as that is what i did re: reviews)

but giving a song a 2 word review doesnt actually review a song at all doesnt go into detail as to why it was bad. as there are so many things as to why it was bad for you, another person may love that sort of thing (oh BTW and i wasnt directly pick at you it was something i saw when looking for examples as Jay requested to enlighten

It kind of depends, really, on what's most worth releasing. Saifam doesn't really have that much to offer as of late that sounds fresh and original, which is probably why Avex is sticking to older tracks like Technological World and Diabolik. If great songs get left alone for a while, it's better late than never that they get the chance to show up. In fact, the latest two GGM appearance (My Hot Guitar and 109) are both a few years old as well.

What I mean is that I don't always give a 10 to the best song of an album. Wouldn't it be odd if I gave Technological world a 10 on the SEB202 compilation, while the same song on a different (future) album with all F.C.F. songs would get a lower grade? It was my explanation of why my grades may be not so high.

Who asked you not to review the albume? I only saw Infinity make a comment. if you wanna review it,you should. Your grades aren't gonna have any effect on our opinions, but it's nice to have everyone's view upfront. At least that's how I see it, besides I don'¿rt really concider you to be a s bias as most of us when it comes to reviewing a cd. Well maybe a certain Lollita track will always get praised to death, but other wise, yeah get the review up sooner than later

No, #Infinity flat out told Bore not to review the album, lol.

I think Bore should review it though, for reasons already stated. Besides, if somebody doesn't like Bore's opinions, it's not as if they're being held at knifepoint to read his review. Why let one review get to you that much?

Heck, Bore should review 193, 194, 195 and 196 when he has time also. I was always curious as to how he thought about some of those songs.

We sort of had this same discussion sometime in the past. Not sure which Saifam song it was again... have this distant feeling it was Disco Energy and I still don't consider it anything special And as for New Technological world, it isn't bad per say, but it also isn't something that right off the bat stands out as memorable. So you are correct that it's as crap as Never Ending Love was, god forbid.

Yeah, that's the feeling I'm getting from this album. There's nothing *BAD* (in my books, anyways), just nothing really striking. Even the top songs for me on this album would just be "alright" on another SEB.
