I think you're being needlessly dramatic. With that and your "nuking" your whole collectionwolftickets1969 wrote:Another nail in this genre's coffin.

Pasquini ain't likely going nowhere and there are still plenty of other labels all producing new tracks, not only in Italy, but outside as well.
I'm hoping with this new project Majorana is indeed the leading producer. I've enjoyed the majority of his productions.
Everybody is jumping off the failboat it seems... now it's the captain's turn!
Would this have happened a few years ago, I would have been devastated, but now that all the good artists have already left, I don't feel much. The other labels are doing a good job, A-Beat-C isn't needed anymore anyways. There is also the odd chance another producer will take over and make the label truly active again, but who knows? And why would Dave just give the label away?

But I agree. I simply view this ABeatC thing as another "Time Exodus" like what happened 15 years ago when many Time producers, writers, and vocalists left Time to form other labels.
Only in this case, there's not as many producers, writers, and vocalists left to form something else

One thing that's for sure is I think Pasquinni has too much ego to join up with another allready big name ,so he rather join up with new talent. Come to think of it, I doubt most producers would join up with another label once they have had thier name established on thier own label.
It's more like they got thier start at TIME. and by the TIME new producers came in the others were allready on thier way out. Farina-makes way for Pasquinni-makes way for Newfield/Dall Ora adds on Rimonti,Accantino,Gabrielli,Festari ect ect ect... In between thier were many other big names like Ventura,Spagna,Somenenzi,Vanni,Moroni,Caria...But I agree. QFT...I highly, highly doubt that eurobeat as a genre would go down a notch with the possible disappearance of A-BEAT C. In my frank opinion, A-BEAT C lost its edge since the end of the 160s...granted songs like "Neverending Night" and "Go Go Go Baby Go" are pretty awesome, but there hasn't been a tremendous spark of genius as of late from the label.Densetsu13 wrote:I think you're being needlessly dramatic. Wolftickets, I don't really understand why you post on this forum when everything you write is dreadfully cynical about the genre. If this is not a genre of interest, just troll.
