DarkSky
They look really professional too:
I know you are being sarcastic. Humongous cartoon tits and a Danish chick reject= Professional :???:

I think this Toho style is where I draw the line. It's just too frickin fast and the emotion gets lost. It's like palying an old 90's TIME vinyl and raising the speed from 1/2 to +8

...and it has nothing to do with amature Eurobeat ,cuz I loved Beatfire and most of the stuff produced by our own members.

BTW Travis; why did your song, Faithful Heart end up on this compilation? It sticks out like a sore thumb, but because it's a good song

Well, the cover, as far as I can see, was shot professionally. The woman that shot was cosplaying Reimu. It's professional but it's quite simple. I don't think they wanted to make an exceedingly complicated cover for an 8-track Eurobeat album based on Touhou music.

EDIT

Corrected stupid EPIC FAIL mistake... REIMU damn it...

Both that one and China Gal were produced/arranged by Sugano. A-One asked him to get me involved on the tracks, and I was more than happy to work with Sugano again. At the time my voice wasn't in the best of shape so I still feel a little disappointed with how I did on those songs...!

This. It's a combination of SEB's traditional style with the game's main heroine.

I rest my case- LOL! AVEX doesn't shoot professional covers they borrow from stutter shock LOL again. Anyway I actually like Cosplay, so long as it's sexy and there's nothing sexy about that cover.

Now this is COSPLAY

So this music is from a video game. No wonder it's fast. Some of my freinds dismiss Eurobeat for Video game music and that pisses me off :-x

Actually.. I was not.
These CDs were factory printed, the letters are shiney just like SEB and the cds have insert etcetera. It's all high quality stuff... just like a professional release ;)

These samples were really quite a pleasant surprise. The vocals on certain tracks were a bit suspect (Like A Shooting Star in particular :???: ) but the overall production value was really high, and I loved the sound of Blue Sky Magic, China Gal (high notes!!) and Don't Break Me Down (but I've always loved DJ Command's style!)

Oh man... Still haven't get a reply from Sugano. Either that he's super busy, don't check his e-mails much or simply don't check that e-mail address anymore.

Dude, me too. It makes me want to slap somebody's shit.

I'd be listening to some PILOT IS THE HERO and some guy I'm chilling with will be all like, DIS IS VIDEOGAME MUSIC RIGHT?

I don't even bother explaining anymore. I've come to the conclusion that Eurobeat is hella hard to explain to people.

05. Endless, Sleepless Night
Original: Love Color Master Spark [Touhou Imperishable Night]
Vocal: (V) · ∀ · (V)
Lyrics: samfree
Arrange: samfree

concerning the above track. The more I listen to that clip, the more I feel I have heard her sing in Eurobeat. I'm inclined to say HRG Attack, but it could also be someone from SCP? Does anyone know for sure?

BTW, would this also fall into this catagory? It sounds great as an instrumntal :D

Liz Triangle doesn't sound too bad on this song. and better song too.

Here is 8 full mins of this style, for those who like to drool. I kinda hear Hurricane in that riff. I still hear ear shattering vocals, but the music is SWEET. That second song is WOW! Agian the vocals ruin it though and the rap just loses me too.

Yeah, I've heard "Video Game Music" "Arcade Music" "DDR Music" - I just don't give them the light of day unless they want to know about it.

It's sort of like those parents that call Pokemon "Pokeman," no matter how many times you correct them they still call it that because they don't care and would never care about Pokemon.

(Though, try explaining Super Eurobeat to someone who thinks they know about it, but they really don't and they're either getting their information out of their asses or they're confusing the genre with another one. That's frustrating. lol)

I have fun with it for that very reason. I explain it like this:

"Okay, take old 80's disco-ish stuff, like Rick Astley—" (almost everyone on the planet has been 'rickrolled' at least once) "— or Dead Or Alive or whatnot, and speed it up a bit. Have you done that? Yeah? Okay, now speed it up again. In fact, give it about 6 Red Bulls and a shot of Sake, and put it on a one-way flight to Japan. In about a week you'll get a phone call saying it's staying there and changing its name to 'Eurobeat'."

It doesn't always work, but it got quite a pretty hard laugh from one of my dad's coworkers who grew up loving SAW and PWL productions and the like.
