I just made note if they were going to go back to slower BPMs, they could recreate some of the awesome synths and melodies from their EBF days, but it's all a moot point since they probably won't. Haha.MAtRiCks wrote:But who said they wanted to return to their EBF sound, though? I doubt that it is their intention. Judging by their history, they seem to usually milk out a soundworld to the bone before they move on and try something new, so I wouldn't be surprised if we hear this current style of them for a little while more.Jay wrote:Well, by "harking back" I meant that HRG are trying to return to that sound you just described with these slower releases. They haven't achieved that just yet, of course. You can't expect HRG to cut the umbilical cord and start producing songs along the same lines as 'Chiller Shock', 'Welcome to the Future', etc. again. This new direction that HRG have taken is undoubtedly a positive development in their history and, who knows, in a couple of years they may have regained their EBF mojo fully.
Like I've always said though, HRG really do need new vocalists, especially if they want to return to their EBF sound.

I'm going to have to leave this album alone for now. It actually takes quite a lot of time for me to download all the songs from Musico, burn them to a CD, increase the volume in a music software, convert them to mp3 format, and finally enter in all the necessary information on iTunes. I'm nearing the end of the first school quarter, and as a result my workload has been awful for the past several days. I'll probably buy and comment on it once I'm at least near the end of the week or maybe sometime during the weekend.
What music software do you use for increasing the volume?Megan188 wrote:I'm going to have to leave this album alone for now. mp3gain increases the volume from within the mp3 file. It doesn't increase the volume in iTunes. The site can explain it better than I can. Plus for audiophiles, it tells you if increasing it to a certain volume height will distort or clip the file.Megan188 wrote:Huh, never heard of mp3gain if that's a software. I usually just like to increase the volume of the mp3 itself and not increase the volume in iTunes, in case that's what your referring to.thejti wrote:Why don't you burn, rip, then use mp3gain to batch gain?
