Avex probably realised how terrible SEB208 was, so they decided to give us an early treat.

'Change' sounds like it might be the first GGM song I've liked since... well, I can't remember! I've despised all of GGM's songs this decade so far, so it's nice to hear a decent song from them for a change. Other decent songs include 'Samurai Blue', 'Rainy Days' and 'What D'You Want From Me.'

Quite a lot of average songs, but there were no bad ones I could pick out. Should be a good album.

Wow! I can count on one hand the songs that I'm probobly gonna like from those samples. Those were pretty bad on an SEB level for any year.

You guys know the drill. The smileys have the initial say and they ain't looking too happy.

01 GO 2 / SAMURAI BLUE (SEB VERSION) - 03:50
Basic Go2 material, but sounds like one of the better trax from this batch.
:)

02 MARI-SAN / CHANGE (EXTENDED VERSION) - 05:39
There is notyhing about this clip that will make me wanna listen to this song in full. Ever!
:-x

03 DJ MOONRAKER / BAD (THE ENERGY REMIX) - 04:14
This is Saifam at thier worst. M.J. songs are not meant for Eurobeat. sounds like a speeded up Bobby O rhythm. For those of you born in the 90s; he was a pioneer of Hi-NRG music from the 80s.
:(

04 MANUEL / MAD MAN (EXTENDED) - 04:49
Even Manuel sounds pretty bad this TIME around. Doesn't even really have a Dima sound to it, which worries me a bit.
:?

05 KEN BLAST / NEW HORIZON (EXTENDED VERSION) - 04:37
Ken is hear to save the day. Love his David R. Jones/Phil & Stan singing tone. This clip sounds pretty tasty.
:D

06 MOMO / ONE HEART ONE SOUL (SEB VERSION) - 04:23
Exactly the type of sound I don't want SCP to sound like. Going back to Send Me An Angel
:(

07 MEGA NRG MAN / JAPANESE GIRL (EXTENDED VERSION) - 04:35
Wow! Where did this song come from! Sounds great from what I can hear. I would say GGMs from the key change in the riff?
:D

08 TORA / CALL MY NAME (EXTENDED MIX) - 05:09
Clip sounds like it was playiing in a big empty hall. Which is exactly the state it would be in if they ever played this song. Last TIME Momo & Tora appeared together on a cd, I wasn't at all impressed.
:(

09 CY-RO / RAINY DAYS (EXTENDED) - 05:47
HRG is hear to save the cd. I love the Italo sound this clip has. reminds me a bit of Brando's "Rainy Days" The pianos are divine and Festari sounds quite different in a relaxed song. The clip puts me in a perfect Italo state.
8)

10 DAVE & FUTURA / JUST ANOTHER DAY WITH YOU (EX.VERSION) - 05:16
Gotta hear the whole thing. I hear some promise in the melody, so I'm keeping my hopes up.
:)

11 ELISA / FLY (EXTENDED VERSION) - 04:47
Has a DELTA sound to it, but it isn't really turning me on. Is this Eliza from Queen 26 fame?
:?

12 JAGER / WHAT D'YOU WANT FROM ME (SEB VERSION) - 04:09
What was that? The whole thing sounds like a forced POP sound onto Eurobeat format. Ugly ugly sounding sample.
:(

13 U SCREAM(?) / KISS ME (EUROGROOVES REMIX) - 05:11
Tis this guy Japanese? They can't sing worth a damn. Pity cause Sergio adds on a prety attractive sounding melody. Why not just let Christian De Leo re-record the vocals?
:|

14 ALEXIS / BYE BYE JAPAN (HEALING VERSION) - 05:31
Why make an Aishu song even more Aishu? Who thought this was a good idea? Elena sounds great, but enough healing allready.
:(

I havn't dished out this many unhappy smileys since SEB 187 and it has everything to do with the fact that half this artists are not on my favourits list.

Overall impression from this clips is a big worried smiley. :( and my SEB spark is in a diminished state this TIME around

Is it just me or does the Jager song sound like a mix of the "Whataya Want From Me" song by Adam Lambert and the Crazy Loop sound style? I think it sounds cool! A very promising album in my opinion.

ELISA / FLY - Dreamy and catchy chorus here, The riff sounds great too, Definitely looking forward to this one the most.
JAGER / WHAT D'YOU WANT FROM ME - Pretty pop-like but at it's highest level, love his vocals too.
MEGA NRG MAN / JAPANESE GIRL - Uhm, I take back whatever I said, the soft synths sound like it will work this time. It's been a while Tomas!
TORA / CALL MY NAME - Great potential for a hit
GO 2 / SAMURAI BLUE - Been a long time since I liked a Go 2 song (NRG), this one sounds like a hit, looking forward.
MANUEL / MAD MAN - Wow! Manuel really gave it his all here. Liking this one but only one Dima entry is blasphemy.
DAVE & FUTURA / JUST ANOTHER DAY WITH YOU - DIMT is gonna be hard to beat but this one sounds decent.
KEN BLAST / NEW HORIZON - Hopefully it makes up for the weak WTSGD.
MOMO / ONE HEART ONE SOUL - She never really had a hit in my books, let's see what this track can offer then but I'm not keeping my hopes up.
MARI-SAN / CHANGE - Don't like Mari-san's vocals but melody sounds okay.
DJ MOONRAKER / BAD - Nice, at least this sample has some self awareness.
CY-RO / RAINY DAYS - Just how many more of these low-nrgs are gonna be release ? I am getting fuzzed and there's like a zillion of em!

I'm not impressed by the samples. Only few memorable mention on this album. Too bad.

Aw, I'm sorry you didn't like When The Sun Goes Down. When it came out I definitely noticed that not everyone resonated with it, so I tried something different in this new song.
The new one, as you may have heard from the clip, goes in a rather different direction. I know because I finally heard the full thing!
A lot's changed in the decade and a half I've been here.

There might be some people who can hear similarities in the style of Manuel / Mad Man and Manuel / Limousine (GoGo's Music song). Both songs were an idea of Manuel himself. @Drnrg, you're right about the fact is hasn't a real Dima Music sound to it but we gave Manuel the chance to arrange the track himself with help of David Dima. This is the result, a very agressive, epic vox, and satanic song. About Manuel himself: Mad Mad! haha

We gave so many hints on Facebook before the guys in Italy even started with the song.

Ah and Travis, nice song

01 GO 2 / SAMURAI BLUE (SEB VERSION) - 03:50
Interesting track, with voice during the riff, this track is very promising. Real Go2 style. I like it.
9/10

02 MARI-SAN / CHANGE (EXTENDED VERSION) - 05:39
Mari-San with her Anastacia-sounding-voice is absolutely back with a hit of a song. I love the yell: ''ready for change'' at the end of the chorus and the ''wuuhuuouuu'' at the end the sample sounds very promising too.
10/10

03 DJ MOONRAKER / BAD (THE ENERGY REMIX) - 04:14
''M.J. songs are not meant for Eurobeat. ''
5/10

04 MANUEL / MAD MAN (EXTENDED) - 04:49
It's too ''epic'' for me, im not a fan of this song
6/10

05 KEN BLAST / NEW HORIZON (EXTENDED VERSION) - 04:37
I need to get used to the voice of Ken Blast, what was that the end of the chorus? Too many words in a too short period of time. Still a good song!
7/10

06 MOMO / ONE HEART ONE SOUL (SEB VERSION) - 04:23
What on earth happened to Momo?
1/10

07 MEGA NRG MAN / JAPANESE GIRL (EXTENDED VERSION) - 04:35
Great energy in this song. Very good!
9/10

08 TORA / CALL MY NAME (EXTENDED MIX) - 05:09
The sound of the sample is really messed up, i cannot decide about this one.
?/10

09 CY-RO / RAINY DAYS (EXTENDED) - 05:47
Back to the old times with another slow HRG song, I like them.
8/10

10 DAVE & FUTURA / JUST ANOTHER DAY WITH YOU (EX.VERSION) - 05:16
Sounds a bit like a SEB X'mas especially the ''bells'' This is again the Futura style of producing.
9/10

11 ELISA / FLY (EXTENDED VERSION) - 04:47
Honestly, this could've been a wonderful song with a different and more soft voice. But still it's very good!
8/10

12 JAGER / WHAT D'YOU WANT FROM ME (SEB VERSION) - 04:09
If I had to rate the voice I would rate it 1/10 because I don't understand a single word! The song itself is very poppy. Mehhh
6/10

13 U SCREAM(?) / KISS ME (EUROGROOVES REMIX) - 05:11
Good voice, I like the sound of this song. EuroGrooves style! yeah!!

14 ALEXIS / BYE BYE JAPAN (HEALING VERSION) - 05:31
I've healed enough, stop the healing songs.
Smile :-)

It seems that our tastes may be closer now more than ever drnrg, as I too am really disillusioned by these samples. Of course, they are just samples and the finished products may sound far better as has happened in the not too distant past.

The best samples are New Horizon, Change and Rainy Days (only because I'm loving HRG's melodic direction at the moment!) - everything else is fairly meh to awful to my ears.

Manuel has indeed developed this crazy opera song style, which sets him apart
nicely..I like it a great deal. It reminds me of Queen, who I am a fan of.

IMSO Jagger tune is rather good, actually - neat hooks and a distinctive sense of identity.

Momo is a name I expect good stuff from, and this time around it is good.
( yet, why does she sound like a banshee here..?..put cute voice back, pronto!)

Cheers to Ken, even from the first 5 seconds you can tell right away that it
is his tune. Looking forward to hearing the whole kahuna when it's out.

Top song here is Bratt's, hands down...can't wait to play it to death..!
