Well, Little Lies was pretty darn good when they came around to releasing that. And let's not forget songs like Ivanhoe, Superphenomena, and Technological World. In my opinion, it doesn't seem like they've degenerated to producing only covers because they're completely out of ideas; it's really probably more because they don't see much of a point in making new stuff. Just look at how much eurobeat's popularity has declined over the past several years - covers are a cheap and easy way out that spare them from effort that might not be fully-appreciated.zoupzuop2 wrote:Five years is a long time mang. It's possible that the producers are just outright tired. And Saifam is easily NOT the first/only one right now!!
Newest ARD songs on saifam.com

yeah i saw that too but i assume they'll eventually put something back up i hope? They removed everything from Speed Records as well. I'm not sure why they're gone though.cheeseman wrote:Waaaait... When did ALL THE OTHER SONGS disappear from Saifam Download?! They used to have almost all Asia, Beaver Music, FCF, Radiorama etc. tracks for download... And now everything's gone, just like that?
E-mail I got from them says "Answering to your question, the tracks you mentioned unfortunately will be not#Infinity wrote:I guess they're just revamping the website or something, in which case they might've needed to take everything down for the time being. Their stuff is still available on junodownload.com, fortunately.
available for downloading.
We are really sorry." to my question if 3B, ARD, Beaver, Speed Records songs will ever be put back up. I didn't mention any specific songs so I dunno why the person said tracks.
Okay, now I want an explanation, since this just seems wrong and illegitimate to me right now. I really hope Avex doesn't have anything to do with this, although they're only associated with certain sublabels of Saifam.
Seriously, a bunch of their songs are now not purchasable in any kind of way. Hello, piracy!

When they are finished messing about with their site, they might still offer that custom CD thing for their back catalogue. I doubt avex has anything to do with this - probably more down to the fact that Saifam has an ENORMOUS back catalogue and they maybe needed to de-clutter, with the "least popular" tracks biting the dust.#Infinity wrote:Okay, now I want an explanation, since this just seems wrong and illegitimate to me right now. I don't know - everything's just gone mega-weird with the company of late, and this is just the latest in a long line of odd business decisions (the most major of which remains their insistance in turning the Asia sub-label into another cookie-cutter cover-version machine just like so many of their other sub-labels...)
Tried e-mailing them again with questions about the saifam top 50 section (will newer songs replace the older ones and be lost forever?) and reasoning why stuff was taken down, but got this message:
"Due to our summer vacation, we will answer you starting from 22 August
2011.
We remind you that all the orders received between 6 and 21 August, will be
processed on 22 August."
I guess that means no new songs that aren't already on saifam.com for 218

key word! I was looking for anika / number one extend from euromach which used to be on saifam.com when I found out about them removing everything. It isn't even on Juno. Any Euromach extend that isn't available for purchase is bad in my opiniondrnrg wrote:You can still find most of thier back catalog on Juno, Right? So what's the big deal?

The problem is, that isn't most of their Eurobeat back catalogue. ARD tracks from 1998-2011 amount to 244, whereas ARD songs from 1988-1994 plus BFC, FCF and RA songs sum up to over 300. So, for me that is a huge loss, especially that some songs (e.g. Anika - Over And Over, Debbie Key - Symphony Love) were never released anywhere else.
