A-Beat C, SCP, etc. Synthesizers

Post by Shinraikan » 11 Aug 2011, 03:08

Hey all, at one point I had all this information written down but I lost a big chunk of my documents, so here I am again.

Anyway, I'm doing a side project and am trying to figure out the main synthesizers used for A-Beat C (120-160s era) as well as SCP Music's hardware. I have all the other labels past and present but am missing these so if anyone can help me out I would greatly appreciate it!

I'm pretty sure stuff like this would ring a bell:

JD 800
JP8000 and JP8080
Yamaha DX7 II

Thank you if you can help me catalogue this. I've been trying to speak with producers from some labels and I haven't heard any word back for a little while so I figured I would cut out the middle man and hopefully make this process a little quicker. Thanks!

Though for synths.... Off the top of my head, at least Waldorf MicroQ, Roland JP-8080, Access Virus (I *think* C), Akai S3000 and S5000, Novation Supernova
