I dare you to listen to 'I'm Superstar' and say that again... with a straight face.
I don't know what you're hearing but Futura's natural voice is so annoying and chipmunky. The total annihilation of her voice in 'Dance Dance Let It Go' is arguably the best thing to have happened to her.

well, I for one, thought she sounded really pleasant in "Lonely". I still gotta hear the whole song; "Dance Dance let It Go" to say I like that tone better than "Lonely"

Here's the problem though: "I'm Superstar" was just bad on EVERY level. I don't compare it to her other works because I don't even regard it as Eurobeat.
Instead, I'd look towards "Give Me Sunshine" as a decent example. She sounded okay there, at least. Not GREAT but she got the job done sufficiently.
A lot's changed in the decade and a half I've been here.

Dance In My Town and Super Eurobeat were both good songs imo though!

Those are her best songs unfortunately.

Yeah, Dance In My Town has been the only track so far that Futura has provided vocals for that I can honestly say I really enjoy. I'm hopeful that this new track will change that though, although again it will be more down to the song writing and production rather than her vocal prowess...
Bought my new iTunes JP card today, so all set for this release now

My sentiments exactly, but you can't really blame them. Ever since the release of "I'm Superstar", it's like the first thing people think of whenever her solo vocalwork is mentioned. Most either forgets about the other two songs (GMS especially) or just deliberately circle around them for some reason. I didn't recall her normal voice being that horrible as well in the 210 label meetup videos either.

Re-listened to "Give Me Sunshine" recently and I must say that it isn't half bad... I probably punch the song's face in my review of SEB 196 though... I agree that "I'm Superstar" was horrible on every points.

I don't know lol, what I do know is that ''The End Of The World'' is comparable with ''King Of The World''. The intro is extremely epic and so it the chorus.
