Since I bought the SCP tracks earlier, I'm looking at the other entries for 218. The Virginelle song is so wonderfully awesome...I cannot remember the last song by Gobbi I did not enjoy. It's chaotic sounding and the male background vocals add an extra kick. I also enjoyed Aleky's Sanrio track too.

Did not like the Oceania song because of the horrid vocals. Let's take an already awful vocalist and make her a chipmunk?! No thanks... I can however give props to the interesting melody of that song.

This might actually be the first time I liked > 3/4 tracks on an album to some extent (excluding the remix), this album also seems to be a pool of songs with good intros, now that's hot. Top tracks for me at the moment are

The End Of The World (You can tell from the song title that this song is gonna be epic)
On Your Wings (Tell Me Why part 2 - It would be interesting to see who hated that song but gives this a perfect score.)
No Money No Honey (LOVE the intro of this song. Blood pumping and hyper, me likey. Almost 95% guranteed this will be my top Hi-NRG track this year)

Well what was Sun Fire meant to do with Futura's vocals, deepen them? Oh I can just imagine the reactions to that.

The fact that her vocals have been distorted so much to the point where she sounds like one of the HRG women is what's really attractive about the song, in my opinion. It's like an ingenious mix of HRG and Sun Fire in one neat little package, and while I don't purport to be the biggest fan of those overly pitched vocals a la HRG, there's something really grotesque yet also pretty about Oceania's vocals in a perverse kind of way. Perhaps it's the Sun Fire soundworlds that suit these pitched-up vocals better than HRG. I'm not sure.

Easily one of the best songs on the album if only for the fact that Sun Fire was brave enough to try something different. That's more than we can say for nearly every other label.

You have a point, and I thought it was one of the better songs on the album too but I still feel that the pitching was rather unnecessary. The song could have been equally satisfying without it or perhaps, even better. Now it just sounds like a better produced Dance Dance Monsteru.

Well, I had a listen through the whole album now, and I agree with you on your earlier point WNight, I'm quite impressed. I've struggled to enjoy even half the songs on the previous albums but this one is clearly a step above that. The only clear misses were 'Hello Kitty' and 'My Melody'; all the others I can see listening to again in the future.

That Rich Hard song in particular gives me goosebumps! Terrific tune and a contender for best of the decade.

I could do without the "get on it" samples in Bye Bye Girl. They become especially annoying in replay which isn't a good thing.

Favorite songs at the moment are Crazy On Emotion, In My Supercar, and On Your Wings.

Hello, Mr. Cipro, and welcome to Eurobeat Prime!
Well, isn't that your lovely girlfriend, Sara (a.k.a. Kimmy)?
By the way, can we expect more of your Eurobeat productions soon? I really miss the happy, bouncy sound of songs like Can Can World, I Need A Hero, Super Rider or My Stars...

I really enjoy the male extra vocals on Bye Bye Girl and as said already based on the sample... the song is an absolute mess, but in a good way. The chaotic and erratic style fits the track pretty damn well. Others have also noticed it, but I gotta echo the message and say that this is without doubt the best of the decade quality wise!

Oh yeah, it could very well be Kimmy - good suggestion cheeseman! Also, I have to second the request for more songs like Super Rider - that is still one of my favourite Eurobeat tracks ever!! :)

Please oh PLEASE let this be so! Kimmy was one of my favorite vocalists back at Delta and I'd love to know she's back in action!!
A lot's changed in the decade and a half I've been here.

Hello everyone and thanks for the welcome!

and the winner is....Cheeseman !

correct, she is Sara (aka Kimmy, Renoir, Sara May, Makkeroni etc.) ... that in the meantime has become my wife in 2008 and beyond, we just had a beautiful baby! a "SuperRider baby"...

...are now many years since I read your messages, whether by choice in the past I never wanted to take part in discussions,
but now let me thank you all for the messages, always very nice about my productions with Paolo Sandrini ...
believe me we really appreciated all the compliments, comments, and bad reviews too ... so thank you thank you thank you!

I am very happy that you like the track of the big D. Marcantonio did with Sara ... i like it too! have done a great job! ... good!

I hope it's just the 'beginning of a long collaboration between Sara and David ...

a big thank goes to Stefy Martin that has been in touch Sara with D. Di Marcantonio... Stefy & Sara often work together, particularly in some musical ... you should see them ...

...will seem sentimental, but believe me, I am really pleased that many of you ask me information about possible new productions such as Iron Man, Super Rider, Kimmy, etc. ...
means that you really enjoyed the previous ones, and this is for those who make music is the most important thing is to have something good and pleasant transmitted through music ... thanks!

I know that probably will go off topic, and I'm sorry, but I take this opportunity to let you in on a couple of things that will explain some of what I will tell you about my Eurobeat production with my dear friend ... Sandrini...

you should know that me and Paolo have known since 1994,
we started working together to Media Records, in recent years we often work together, collecting numerous successes around the world with our techno / electronica / dance productions ...
at Media Records we have known a myth, expecially in Eurobeat music ... his name is Mr. Laurent Gelmetti ... Mr. Newfield ...

a few years ago, the great Laurent, probably in search of a new production team for 'Akyr / Delta, we proposed to try to do some Eurobeat / Para Para / production etc ...
trying to unite our luggage and our music sounds to those required by the eurobeat market ...

We immediately had a good feeling with the Eurobeat world, especially because when you get a chance to experiment, to mix different sounds, different techniques of production and mixing,
creativity is stimulated, and consequently there is so much fun ...

that's why as some of you have noticed and written in some messages, our productions with the Delta / Akyr had a different sound ... I'm glad you liked ...

was very, very nice ...

Our team consisted of 4 people, me, my great friend Sandrini, my girlfriend/wife Sara , and the great Luca Torchiani, which in addition to singing many song, he wrote all the lyrics of our productions ...
working with Sara and Luca in the studio was very nice, right from 'the beginning they worked very well, and the mix of their voices, we immediately found it very interesting ...
(For example, many times, Luca will hace sung the choruses of the songs were sung by Sara, and Sara will have sung the choruses of the songs were sung by Luca, as long as they have in the Can Can World- Makkeroni duet ...):wink::wink:

Mr. Newfield? ... Was our fifth man, who always believed in us, leaving us free rein in production ...

Delta? you kwow...Delta is a great label!... A big thanks to Clara and Mara, have done a wonderful job ...

the future? ...
some of you reading my words could think of a sort of farewell ...
I must be honest, as you know, it's a bit of time that we do not publish new productions ...

Unfortunately Paolo is very busy with other productions that are going very well, after like 20 years I decided to take a break from the music world and have been very busy with other things ... that's the main reason ...

before the stop, we had already prepared the new single by Mark Astley, and Kimmy Makkeroni, and many other ideas, but remained in the drawer, even on 'Hard Drive ...

Unfortunately, the hours in a day is only 24, we would need 48 ...

maybe one day we can all go back in the studio together, I hope so, because we believe so much fun ... (I'd like you to see the videos that we recorded during the recording of the Can Can and Super Rider ...very fun ... ) ...

Meanwhile, enjoy the new song of my lovely Sara with Davide Di Marcantonio ... hoping that others come soon!

thanks again everyone, I hope you are not bored to read my message ... in fact I hope you enjoyed ...

See you all soon!

p.s. Sorry for English mistakes......thx to google...

Welcome to the forums. I must say, since Newfield left the scene, eurobeat has not been the same so maybe you can take in all the creative juices and things he has taught you in the past to amp it up! Now that you mentioned Renoir, I can totally hear the voice of Mistika. I was stumped for a bit because the voice sounds like a blend of Stephy and Aleky.
