HRG 109 Michelle Rose- Baby Come Back To Me
Very underestimated record IMOP. Even Live Music Studio didn't promote it as much as say, Joy & Sorrow or High Energy. It uses the repititious stuttering effect using the word baby right before the synth riff and it's loads of fun to listen to. My only regret is that I missed out on the vinyl.

Michellee looked better on the sleeve for Sunday Night. I know her and Jee Bee were twins, but Michelle was slightly prettier than Jee Bee. On BCBTM sleeve she looks more like Jee Bee Than Michelle. Compare her to Sunday Night and Jee Bee on "Wings Of Fire" to see what I mean? anyway, I'm thinking Michelle was busy and so they used Jee Bee for the BCBTM sleeve thanking we couldn't tell the difference, but I did
Michelle Rose

Jee Bee

Anyway they both made up the superteam of Ciao Ciao from Asia records and then later from HRG Attack. BTW, Cindy is thier sister.

Burn Into The Beat / Nick Mansell
This song proves that stellar delivery and presentation can turn even a fairly average tune into a breathtaking masterpiece. Nicola brims with energy here while sounding surprisingly emotive at the same time, and the production is just incredibly polished up and perfectly cooperates with the vocals to strike gold. The chorus is a lot like that of Feel the Power, but even with a little less speed, this track stands out as an easy top 5 pick of the 180's for me. It's too bad we haven't heard from Nick Mansell since this track, but at least he went out with a serious bang.

Don't know how many of recall Euro Fire vol. 25. That one has my fav Nick Mansell- Runaway and Christine- Love Is Magic. Both of those songs stood out among the rest.
Indeed a great song. I admit that I didn't give it much airplay when it first came out. Probly due to the fact that I liked alot other songs from that cd better, but listeing to it today, I admit it's one of SCP's highlights.Burn Into The Beat / Nick Mansell

Listening to Saifam gems like this makes me sad, considering what they had become in recent times.Bore wrote:I've been listening heavily to the EuroPanic! albums and the huge number of classic tracks the series had. My pick for the day: Blue Roses - Roppongi Carillon , You and me together for a neverending love~ ~ ~ ♫
Speaking of Saifam, my tune of the day is QUEEN / MARK FOSTER.
So explosive and energetic! This song was the main reason I became so transfixed by Saifam from 2006 until whenever they stopped being original. Just a shame that most people have brushed this song aside in favour of "Like a Fire."
That's what I was sort of thinking when I made my post, but didn't include it since I didn't wanna get down to the debate about levels and such. Yet I have loved quite a few of the recent entries as well. Dance Boom Boom especially~Jay wrote:Listening to Saifam gems like this makes me sad, considering what they had become in recent times.Bore wrote:I've been listening heavily to the EuroPanic! albums and the huge number of classic tracks the series had. The last songs that did anything for me from Saiafam werte Mela- Sandy and Radiorama- You Are Always On My Mind, but seeing that I think they were; in fact, much older songs, its safe to say that the label had a already fizzled out for me. I had a small funeral for them when they released that M.C. Boy remix.BoreThat's what I was sort of thinking when I made my post, but didn't include it since I didn't wanna get down to the debate about levels and such. Anyway today I choose a Flea label classic. One of many IMOP.
FL 8401 Malcolm J. Hill- Take A Chance On Me. Relaxed in BPMs, but so powerful for High Energy Italo and Gino's Vocals are icing on the cake.
Is It? I posted without checking it. I know Bombers did Mr. Frankenstein; whhich I also enjoyed very much in extended.Isn't the artist Bombers?

I think the reason most people prefer Like a Fire is because that song is a lot more melodically driven and has incredible production. On the other hand, Queen borrows heavily from previous Saifam tracks, particularly Spiderman during the chorus and, as the_ditz pointed out to me before, Gun Boy during the synth. I think Queen is a pretty nice song myself - you can't go wrong with an aggressive, 164 bpm Saifam production - but in general, the melodic impact tends to be the make or break for most people here.Jay wrote:Speaking of Saifam, my tune of the day is QUEEN / MARK FOSTER.

One of my favourite Italo NRG songs from the 80's is Eddy Huntington- Meet My Friend
So today I was listening to a few AbeatC songs with that song in mind. Uses the same melody in the synth riff. Both are from the Maharaja Nights series.
Alexandra- Dance On The Universe (ABeatC)
Derreck Simons- I Wanna Be Free (ABeatC)
Agreed!Andrea - Tell Me (last rmx) (FCF 45/93)This is one of the best songs of that label. I especially like the last rmx version.
