Just thought to let you know where the influence to this song comes from.
It is originally taken off from the artist Suzy Q and her song called Can't Live from 1986. Suzy Q was an Italian disco/funk/hi nrg project produced by the Cucuzella brothers.
The singing melody to the first stanza on Sophie's song matches the vocal melody to the opening stanza of Suzy Q's song.
Both awesome songs by the Italians!
here is the link in case you wanna hear it.

Thanks but I also have this Suzy (Q's) 12" 'cause I'm collecting disco-Funk-Italo 80's 12" mostly!

Of course, early Eurobeat, HiNRG, SEBs,etc..

Thanks Synthjunkie. I can't beleive I was going nuts trying to figure out where the melody was from. That song was very successful on the American Hi-Energy charts. Came in at number 94 for L.A.'s very own KWPR's top 100 of that year. Other songs that charted well thaty year were Stacy Q, Fun Fun, Make Mareen, Nancy Martinez and DOA. Man, those were the days. When Hi Energy was the popular dance form in the states.
song for the day is off
Maharaja Night Hi- Energy Revolution vol. 21
Anika- Sexy Shock (extended Mix) TIME
Love the NRG of that song.

Dr. Love - Bad Connection
It sounds a bit like an FCF song of the old days. A great Delta Song by Laurent Gelmetti.

Which of many did you have in mind.
Rose- This Is My Song For You(TIME)
The SEB version was kinda too short to fully apprceiate, but the extended sounds really great.

Song for today from Stil Novo records.
SNR01891 Masha- Full Of Devotion.
These songs always seemed to have incredibly crafty breakdowns. Anyway, Nando Bonini was also always present in the writing credits.

Margaret was Elena's alias at AbeatC. Does that mean that Clara also sang some songs for AbeatC?

I know only 3 songs sung by Clara in A.Beat C and it was in 1995-1996
Margaret "Renegade" - I'm sure she's on backing vox!
Groove Twins "Kick at My Heart" also with Elena
Groove Twins "Love Bang Bang" duett Clara & Mirka Gatti (Domino)
for me Groove Twins and King & Queen are the most mysterious aliases in AbeatC, but I think that Elena Ferretti sing along with Domino in
"Are You Ready To Dance". Same situation with
"1999" by King & Queen, for me it's Mirka & Elena too.
song for today:
Sara - Little Love
tha last Sara's song...great-arranged extended version, but I still don't know her real name

Groove Twins "Kick at My Heart" also with Elena
So that makes it a kinda Macho Gang/Gipsy & Queen song sang under Groove Twins name? I knew there was some reason that song struck me.
That will also be my song for the day.
