Dave Rodgers - Nothing Changed
In a time when almost all eurobeat songs were rather hard in style, this was the big surprise. Songs of the Dave Rodgers name were less interesting to me than the great work he did with The Big Brother, Robert Stone and Aleph, but this was a nice exception. A very good song!

TRD 1211- 1214 debuted 4 new artists for TIME records. Robert Patton,Angie Davies,High Frequency, and the Kate & Karen song mentioned above and in that order. Robert Patton and High Frequency hit the top 10 Iventi Hi- Energy charts within the week, but Angie Davies and Kate & Karen fizzled out below the top 20. Never quite understood that chart's criteria for choosing hits and missest, since all 4 songs had top 10 potential.
My song for the day is TRD 1212; the Angie Davies debut record called "I've Got This Feeling".
very catchy and uplifting song, with a particularly great sounding bridge right before the main chorus.
Very cool and hard to find title. Gave me the chills since it sounded more like early Gipsy and Queen style thean the actual Gipsy & Queens songs comming out in that era.. The song could have aslo slotted nicely on Saifam's F.C.F label for the intro and riff style alone.Kate & Karen - All Day

Gino Caria sounded so great on Flea label. He even tried his own version of Farina's King Kong and D. Jungle Girls
My song for today is:
FL 8494 Flashman & The Spider Girls- Boom Boom Dancing
Great Italo NRG oldie borrowing a little from the very well known melody of "Boom Boom Dollars"
pity the 12' was not given the proper sleeve art.

I never understood that either. I don't remember exactly but I think my song for today wasn't high in the charts. My song for today is .coincedently, Mike Hammer- Runnaway (TRD 1298)
Love the spacy intro and break. EXTACY

That was around the TIME when the chart started letting house music enter the list. I also missed out half that year. The last issue of that year that I have has songs like Stop Limit Line- Come To Me and Mike Hammer- Runnaway in the top 10, so I missed out on Frank's appearance; if in fact ,it made the top 10.Frank Torpedo - Everybody's Dancing

Great choice! I'll check my charts to see if I have anything in that period.drnrg wrote:jeurobeatThat was around the TIME when the chart started letting house music enter the list.
