Super Eurobeat 222
Hmmm, kinda sucky that we get 2 bonus tracks essentially (the SEB 4 U ft. Andrea Montegorileleilrogiellellerllrlllleleliii will be a rock-inspired remix I'm assuming, and the "original" Wild Boys) so only 14 new tracks.
The pros from this tracklist:
- new Ace (I adored Crazy On Emotion and Set Me Free)
- new Irene (she's just all-round awesome!)
- new solo Dima stuff - hoping for some raw power like only he can deliver
The cons:
- Nasal Sheffield is back![Sad :(](./images/smilies/sad.gif)
- Some kind of bland aliases that miss more often than they hit are back (Tora, Annalise, Futura)
I'm tentatively interested, but not sure how good this could be right now...

Just a suggestion, but is it possible that avex perhaps rejected Get Yaself The Real Thang and that's why it hasn't shown up yet? The fact they've gone with another Lou Master track completely when we know it was being worked on at the same time as Hyper Super Powers might also be a sign of a possible rejection.WNight wrote:Aw crap, still no sign of Get Yaself The Real Thang (which really should have been released on 221 btw), instead we get this cover, real fun.

Shawaazu, with my commentary added afterwards in italics wrote:1. DANCE IN THE STARLIGHT / ACE
Love me some Ace tunes! Looking forward to this one.
2. LOVELY / IRENE
SCP femme tunes don't tend to let me down much, so this one sounds promising.
3. SUNLIGHT / KAIOH
Loved its live debut! Can't wait to hear it in full!
4. STRANGERS IN THE NIGHT / DAVID DIMA
Dima's solid, but I'm hoping he can change things up dramatically for this one. I know, I know, "if it ain't broke don't fix it", but... let's hear something fresh and new!
5. GIMME LOVE / NORMA SHEFFIELD
WOW, how long has it been? I for one look forward to hearing this!
6. DANCE TO THE TOP OF FIRE / CY-RO
HRG's been a track-by-track thing for me. I'll have to hear it.
7. NOTHING'S GONNA STOP US / ANNALISE
Sounds like an old ABeatC unreleased tune.
8. LAST OF EUROBEAT / MARK FARINA
Preview sounded promising!
9. REBORN MY FIRE / CHERRY
Hopefully it's aggro-cherry, I love when Clara takes on faster tracks.
10. INTO THE MOON / DAVE&FUTURA
Here's hoping it follows after "Dance In My Town"!
11. YOU COULD BE MINE / DREAM FIGHTERS
Sounds like some sort of acapella/barber shop song title. ACAPELLA EUROBEAT PLSKTHX?
12. LUCKY LUCKY / GARCON
Title strikes me as fairly Italo Disco-flavored.
13. BOYS (DO FALL IN LOVE) / LOU MASTER
Torn. Not usually fond of covers but Lou Master has done well by me!
14. BAD JOY / TORA
Please let this be the first Sinclairestyle track in a long time that doesn't involve him tossing Tora into a wind-tunnel; other than that, SUPER looking forward to this!
15. SEB 4 U / SEB ALL STARS feat. ANDREA MARTONGELLI
Rehaaaaaaasssssshhhhhh. Boo.
BONUS TRACK
16. WILD BOYS / RICH HARD
This better be good enough to undo the 221 version.
A lot's changed in the decade and a half I've been here.

Sweet Enola Gay son, let's hope it's not another reverb abomination like 10,000 Lovers in One! Eurgh!Lebon14 wrote:So, I checked a bit the titles with Cheeseman's Eurobeat catalog.
NOTHING'S GONNA STOP US / ANNALISE
is the only track that seemed to be from Avex's drawer. And it's almost 20 years old!
Anyway, this tracklist looks kind of worrisome, to be frank. Norma Sheffield, SinclaireStyle's track being female-led, and not one, but two HRG songs led by Nick Festari. I really hope I'm pleasantly surprised when I receive my copy because right now, my expectations are bleak.

Aggro-Cherry is typified by the genius "Yes I Will" - still her best song everDarkholme wrote:When I think of aggressive Clara songs I immediately think of Rain. If Reborn My Fire is anything like Rain...zoupzuop2 wrote: 9. REBORN MY FIRE / CHERRY

#Infinity and I both seem to worried about this release for the exact same reasons - last keep our fingers crossed that they have some surprises waiting for us mate, huh?

new clara, and some old annalise?
I hope she brings back a strong vocal quality, like her mid 1990's work, or even previous works, back in 1986-1991 era where I think she was in her glory days in terms of vocal quality.
My fav song from her will still always be
Laurie - Out of your heart (1988), with that nice blend of 80's pop, and little sprinkles of eurobeat sounds to it.
It's so hard to hear her voice sometimes in some of the newer work with all the music turned up so loud and her voice lowered...
It would also be totally awesome if she brought in some of her edgey rock voice she uses when she sings in Italian under her real name; a much deeper, angry sounding Clara.
As for Annalise, I am very exited if it is true what somebody else said on here in that it might be an older song; 20 years old almost???? Wow, if so, I think it will be an awesome song, because that was around the period that I personally think that eurobeat was at it's best: A-Beat-C and Time were kicking some butt in terms of the quality of their songs back then, in where one could actually hear the separate kicks and drums still being used in the songs, and the breakdowns to the songs before the final chorus before the song ended was amazing!
Some unreleased Time in the near future as well?

Looking at the writers, it looks like it is from 2008 (late 180s).#Infinity wrote:Sweet Enola Gay son, let's hope it's not another reverb abomination like 10,000 Lovers in One! Eurgh!Lebon14 wrote:So, I checked a bit the titles with Cheeseman's Eurobeat catalog.
