Vocaloids: Reviving niche interest in Eurobeat?

A really good Vocaloid old-school Eurobeat / Hi-NRG track I've stumbled upon recently:

Hiroyuki ODA pres. HSP feat. Miku Hatsune - Wander Girl (Extended Mix)

Sounds totally like a Time release from the early '90s, except it's Miku Hatsune singing. Absolutely love the production!

It's really surprising, because HSP is a progressive trance artist, so to hear such a faithful recreation of the early eurobeat sound was very interesting and exciting.

Looking through this thread, I was disappointed to see such negative reactions towards Vocaloid. Of all the music communities in the world, I would have thought eurobeat fans to be most accepting of this new technological development...
I've got to thank zoupzoup for turning me on to Super Hatsune Beat. I couldn't believe I'd never heard of it before! One of my favorite HM songs is White Letter, and so I was very glad to see it covered in the first mix, especially since it's quite underrated.

Also, DarkSky, those links aren't working, but if it's for his progressive trance works, please check out "Plug Out" - it's one of my favorites.

For what it's worth, I start all my eurobeat projects with Luka as a base singer to get a feel for the vocals, then I send the track over to my vocalists. Vocaloid is a great tool for people who don't have a vocalist too, I just wish they had more than Luka as a viable English singer. The actual English ones are atrocious.
