I would like to see her go and sing another song with Sinclaire as the producer. Taste of Love had the Sinclaire riff style that I loved from his time at A-Beat C and he co-wrote and co-produced the track.

SUPER HUGE LIST OF ALL HER SONGS UNDER DIFFERENT ALIASES (both eurobeat and eurodance):
Oh yeah, I like her songs under her Annerly and (TIME) esp. that Ann Sinclaire song, ect. just the Annalise ones that seemed kinda randon.

I didn't know she sang Tiffany- Make Me Look In The Mirror. I have that 12'. Lovely song on the unforgetable FLEA label. 8)
Yes. Make Me Look in the Mirror is pretty good.
At first one wouldn't know that it's she who is singing, but she is good at disguising her voice under different tones.

Anyway, going back to Clara, I do hope she will make a comeback with an older Eurobeat stye with her new song "Reborn My Fire", but I doubt it, since the majority of people today like music that is fast paced, and that fits in with "EMG," which is just a shame, because the slower Italo-Disco style is making more of a comeback on the radio in countries like Sweden, who already have artists like Ita-love making some awesome Italo-disco styles of music.

Also, I loved it when Clara's songs (actually all the Eurobeat songs of that time) had so much passion and sensuality in way the lyrics were sung, (ie. Vanessa - Eternity.)

God forbid, but if Eurobeat would ever really die down in the future in the hands of Avex, I do hope these Eurobeat labels would at least try and aim for the Northern European market in terms of marketing their music, or at least some latin countries like Brazil, where Eurobeat and Eurodance are still popular, because that would be a good choice in my opinion.

I am not saying that I hate the newer faster style, because there are so many cool faster songs for sure, heck, I even first started listening to Eurobeat back in 1996 when I heard Japanese singer Amuro Namie sing "Try Me," but it wasn't until I started listening to the older Eurobeat songs that I discovered the true little gems that existed.

Haha, you're right! I made a mistake, since this one Go Go Girls song is indeed Elena Gobbi on this song.
Sorry about that.

By the way, very good song though. The first few seconds has a nice techno-influenced intro to it that I like, and kinda seems to give a tribute to the techno house tracks from that era, most notably the riff from Eurodance/house song "DON'T YOU WANT ME" by "FELIX".
The riffs on SUNNY SUNNY LADY also follow in line with the techno house sound which also sounds very good.

Talking about Go Go Girls, an interesting thing is that the song SUNNY SUNNY LADY is sung by ELENA GOBBI, as I was indeed corrected for this, but funny how the B-side to this vinyl has the song NOBODY'S PERFECT, which is 100% sung by ANNERLEY GORDON, which was also a very good song, even as a B-side track.

Go Go Girls - Nobody's Perfect (b-side to FUNNY FUNNY LADY vinyl)
A-Beat-C Records (ABEAT 1140)
1993

Both awesome songs.

About the Annalise song, when i said that it's almost 20 years old, it's because it was with other songs that were quite old in Cheeseman's Eurobeat Catalogue... See a screenshot...

EDIT

I'm REALLY stupid on this one... See the songs on top... *bang head on desk* discard what I said about the age, they are only in alphebetical order.

No you're not stupid. That song is super old and I'm gonna tell you why. See the people who wrote that song. It's a collaboration with Pasquinni. Now day s he hardly ever does that except with Futura, so it's a super old song. It's proly as old as Evergreen.

Hey, no worries there! As Dr. NRG says, it might still be old, just not AS old as you first thought, but still, who knows? As long as it's better than the material made for Annerley Gordon during the 200's, I'm all for it. We will just have to wait and see.

On another note, it's funny to see that the DIMA Catalogue on their official website doesn't mention the new DIMA songs from this album on there:
david dima - strangesr in the night
dream fighters - you could be mine

However it does show 2 other newer songs (Stephy - Free, and Nicky Short - Together) which were added to the catalogue quite a while ago, and have catalogue numbers predating the last 2 DIMA songs released on SEB 221, so I'm assuming they were rejected by Avex, or maybe will make a future appearance, such as on SEB 223?
It's just strange how the newer songs already confirmed for SEB 222 are not on their catalogue yet, since they usually have it updated just before the release of another SEB album.

Anybody have any inside info regarding these 2 other DIMA songs not making it onto SEB 222?

One of the writers, V.Pinto co-wrote The One For Me, so it was probably made around the same time (the 180s). Evergreen would be even older since Sandro Oliva was a writer.

I'm guessing Annalise -Nothing is Gonna Stop Us Tonight was written around 2007-2008. Back when she was kinda a regular on SEB. Her songs in that era were not terrible, but not too memorable either. She also helped with the composing. What I rememeber most about that era is that ABeatC had some really light insipid sounding intros that ruined half of the songs sung by Mega NRG Man. So lets hope for the best with this her new(old) release.

I find it strange that they're only posting a sample of the first track now. Seems a bit odd to me...

Still, I really love the sound of that Ace track - he's rarely let me down in recent years so I'm delighted to hear his strong streak continue :)

I actually kind of forgot that this was released next week. Awesome! :D
