The thing is that the album is cheaper than a SEB album (1500yen). However, it costs a huge amount to get it out of Japan. You have to use a service that purcahse it for you then ship it back out like
http://www.i-tm4u.biz . According to my calculations, if you purcahse from MelonBooks...
1500 [CD] + 1000 [commission] + 63 [Paypal fees] + 525 [domestic shipping] + 1600 [EMS International shipping] = 4688 yen (~50$ US).
Note that there are also Air Mail and SAL but it's unavaialble for first time customers. So, unless you are ready to pay such amount of money for a 47min album, then you are destined to download.
Btw, why aren't those avialble online? While Zun, the creator of Touhou, pretty much gives his rights away to the fandom, he wants the stuff to stay within Japan. So, yeah, TEB will only be purcahsable through that way and at a ridiculous amount of money. You better off downloading imo... I'm pretty sure Elementas would understand and I am pretty sure that if he could make the albums available for us, he would (Elementas is the one running A-One, the label behind TEB).
