Re: Nick Festari - Don't Slam The Radio
There's nothing written in the that description saying that he left Eurobeat. It just says After 30 years performing eurobeat and dance music, Nick Festari dives into a new genre; pop music.Javy wrote:After 30 years in the eurobeat and italo scene, Nick Festari has left eurobeat to pursue new artistic ventures.

Nothing about quitting Eurobeat. *shrug*
I guess it's only 99¢, I'll give it a go. FLAC is available on CDBaby so yeah.
椛ちゃん、助けてぇぇぇぇぇ!
The info about him leaving eurobeat is from personal conversations I've had with Nick. The new Franz Tornado and Ciao Ciao tracks are his final tracks with HRG. From this track and on his will be working as a solo indie performer.

Remarkable. The song itself is good. I like the style of singing, he has a very special tone of voice. However, the pronunciation is really poor.
David Dima did the same a couple of weeks ago:

The Italian accent is much more audible when they sing slow.

Boy, I kind of wonder what this means for the future of Hi-NRG Attack. Almost every single male-led track over the past few years was performed by Festari. Will they hire a new writer to take his place? Is Federico Rimonti really too old to appear on new tracks frequently? Will the label shut down for good?

Franz Tornado is still 100% active with Hi NRG Attack, Kool Kitten is evidence of that. No the label is not shutting down, nor has any plans on slowing down production. Also Festari left on amicable terms so should they want to maintain continuity on aliases that he used, he in theory could return on a freelance as needed basis. So yes going forward Festari is no longer with Hi NRG Attack/

I really, really like his version of this song. I like the song in general, but his accent make the song unique! I'd like to hear a professional version of this song.DarkSky wrote:Remarkable. Nick has left HRG Attack. I mentioned this in the SEB 225 thread. The alises he used were also sung by Federicco Rimonti.. We will be seeing alot more of Franz's alias' and perhaps some new talent in near future.
Now is the TIME to loom ahead. His new song is brilliant. I still hear Cy-Ro singing, but that's the magic of it. BTW, he did all vocals front and backup. The production was written, composed and performed by him entirly. Think Prince in the 80's to get an idea.
All the best of luck

I'm just saying
This is not the first TIME a post appears about the other musical genres from certain well known Eurobeat artists. In the past posts about Dave Rodgers, Clara Moroni, Elena Ferretti ect.. have been posted, so why shouldn't Nick Festari recieve the same love. It's only fair and he has been around since the 90's. Us; the Eurobeat fans ,are probobly the ones most familiar with Nick's vocals and works, so it makes perfect sense for this post to appear in a Eurobeat related forum. Also, why is this thread in Eurobeat Talk? This guy quit the eurobeat scene, and this song isn't eurobeat, so it shouldn't be here.
I'm just saying
