It kinda sounded like it was comming out of a small transister radio, but I guess that's because laptop speakers suck. I'd have to listen to it on my desktop to get the full effect.
I like the overall melody of the song. synth Riff is very good. It carries an old Italo melody and I love the middle mini instrumantal. It seems you could have a natural flair for creating catchy and interesting combinations for Eurobeat synth riff. Thse are the elements that almost always attract me to a song. but I'ms a not a fan of robotic sounding vocals. It gives me the feel that the animi girl on your sleeve is singing the song and since I'm from the Italo NRG era; it just doesn,t sit right with me. However your image: if it is your own animi creation, is very good for animi standards. That I will admit. The colours and fonts you used for your name look really apealing. You should use a better looking font for the word FREE after all: it is the title of your song. I commend the fact that you took the TIME to create vinyl art for your song.
Finally you gotta get into the extended mode. Three and a half minutes is just too short. reminds me of those old "radio edits" TIME would feature on thier vinyls. and like Lebon said, longer intro is much needed.

Of course, my first reaction is not... well more like general reaction will be that kind of answer above. I still stand on AT LEAST master it yourself and do not rely on any hard limiter. You can master it loud but... there's a difference between loud and LOUD

It would be great if you took it a step further and created your own animi images and brought them to life with those vocaloid programs. I, for one would have a whole new respect for that style. Interesting concept, when you think about it. It's like fabricating your own Eurobeat star out of scratch. maybe you know someone who draws killer animi to draw you one? this is just an idea I would do, because I like taking things to that next level.
hmmmm.. I think you just answered the question yourslf? It's because it's NOT a dance/pop song, but a Eurobeat song. For me; Eurobeat and Dance/pop have nothing in common effect for the fect that they both use similiar synths, but even the way they are played is different, so for me Eurobeat should always be 4:30 and up.I think that 3-4 minutes is the ideal length for a modern dance-pop single, personally - but I can understand why you'd want something longer.

Interesting, because in a way you are keeping faithful to what Eurobeat/HiNRG vinyls have allways been about. Giving the listener the idea that the image/model ect.. is actually singing the song. In other words giving them an image.In other words, yes; the anime character is singing the song, and what you're hearing is a computer-generated voice.

Agreed! The longer the track, the more you can do with intro/outro mixing! Dance/Pop is just that...pop music with dance music elements. The fact that you used a "fake" singer just really turned me off to the project. The melody is nice, and the riff line is nice, and I thought the vocals were nice too until you mentioned it was just a software. There's no feeling or emotion in software. Well, I like your song. It may be very loud, but as long as it doesn't brickwall that doesn't bother me. And even if I'm not a huge fan of Miku (her voice sounds sometimes too synthetic. I'm more a fan of GUMI, but that doesn't matter now), Miku's voice fits pretty well in your song. The melody is catchy, good work!

Great electropop-ish tune with this catchy chorus that has a lot of emotion coming from the vocaloid.

Just a little heads up. Eurobeat isn't as digitalize as you play it out to be. All guitar solos in Eurobeat/Italo NRG ect.. are actually born on real guitars. Pasquinni, Newfield, Sinclaire,Festari, Farina, Dima, ect.. are all fluent masters in guitars. The fact about synths, and this comes from Dall Ora himself, i9s that, they are all played on a synthesizer first at normal speed. Later on they are sped up for thje bpm effect. So in the end: all that is actually digitalized, is the editing and added effects like echos, explosions,lasers, ect...
BTW,I did checkout some of those Miku Vocaloid concerts on youtube< because I was totally ignoranr on the suject. I know I was telling you how cool it would be to kinda create your own Eurobeat star out of scrath, but after seeing those concerts I was remebered why I don't really care for the whole Vocaloid movement. That concert seemed very disturbing at first. She did sing with emotion, but what scared me, was the adoration those at the concert semed to show for an inanimate object. It' s kinda creepy to see how thin the line between real and fabricated artists really is.
The reason I don't support vocaloids, robots ect.. is simply because I would dread the day they take over actual performers. Everything would be fabricated and fake. The record companies would love the fact they longer have to pay actual living people. There would no longer be a wide variety of artists, only a small select few to produce music for vocaloids and robots. As it is: as we speak only a few select write music and lyrics for the so- called music stars of today. It's downright disillusioning.
Anyway, I'm veering off into a whole other subject that I feel very strongly about, but you get the idea where I stand on the issue.
I am looking forward to your next project. The retro style. That should be interesting.
