I didn't intend for it to be negative at all. I love the vocals because they're corny/cheesy, I think that's one part where the song really succeeds. The vocals are a pure joy to listen to.

DoIt! DoIt! DoIt!
FAIT!
EDIT: Forgot the song!
Les Blue Belles - Sugar Baby Love
This song is magic, everything from the riff to the vocals is magic. Wonderful, floaty magic.

Song for today is
Gina - Rush
Pretty underrated IMO, couldn't find it on any compilation other than SEB, and there it's just on SEB 9, not even a single non-stop remix.
BONUS STAGE:
Denise - Burning Like A Flame
Sounds like a modern-day
Everytime You Want. The riff and hook share melodies with Everytime You Want's chorus, which is a huge plus because I love that melody

Oh yeah, I inderstood you like the song, by the context of your text. I use the word "corny" negatively, so it made no sense fopr me to ditto your post, but rather change it to "cheesy", but I totaly got the fact that you enjoy the song.

.
What I wasn't too clear is weather you like his new song "Fight" opr if you completely dismiss that one?
My song for today is again from Rich Hard.
Today I choose his debut:
Pirates. Another quirky classic in the making.

I was actually listening to Fight a lot just after Wild Boys since you mentioned it. I like it a lot, and not just because it's cheesy.
Dave has been in the industry for so long so I think he's pretty much mastered the genre, Fight and other Rich Hard songs are great examples of that. They sound new and fresh, even if its just in subtle ways you can tell that there's always some experimentation going on and I've come to appreciate that in a way I wasn't able to before.
In other words,
FIGHT!

From AbeatC records.
I choose
Mega NRG Man- King Kong Is Back
I always love this title since it had more to do with Flea records than ABeatC. Dave Rodgers took over the Farina title after a while, but King Kong theme always sounds like Farina to me.

DELTA is heavy on my player today. Threw on the shuffler and out pop...
Kimmy- My Oh My.
My Oh My what a sweet, fun Eurobeat song. Too bad it came out way after the vinyl era. Would have loved that one in my maxi collection.

It's a great song. I remember a friend played this song all the time back in 1991. I'll choose one of that year as well.
Raymond Barry - Get Back

Paul Murray - Commedia
Such a classic. I love how it sounds like it could have been released on Flea records just as easy as AbeatC,
My song for today is from Flea records. The Dave Rodgers era was a bit confusing because he was singing all the old Mauro Farina titles, but the songs were just as memorable..
Blue Sunbeam - Dreaming
Giancarlo never sang under his Dave Rodgers title at Flea, but I think "Dreaming" would have been a perfect way to introduce the name.

Never heard of this one and I don't have it downloaded, I'll check it out!
My pick for today is
Touch Me - Jilly, a really unique song and I don't know any other song that sounds like it. The bass is really prominent and falls directly on the beat while vocals are being sung pretty low for a Hi-NRG song, weird but great

Nice to see that you like those great songs of 1991! It's one of my favorite years. If you like Jilly I suggest you'd checkout
Anika - Tell Me (for your love). Do you know that one? The style is somewhat similar. The drums are the same and Clara sings with her lower vocals as well. Pay attention to the break. They knew how to keep a song interesting for the full six minutes

Just a heads up for those wondering. That particular Jilly song isn't on TIME records catalog, but rather on Macho records. One of those on the side lables from TIME. It was actually starte3d featuring Macho Gang, hence the name, Macho Records.
Mine for today is also from that lable and Gino Caria's first song as T
oby Ash.
Are You Ready (Macho Records)
Pure Hi Energy melody from start to finish with some incredible female backup work and amazing synth riff.
@jeurobeat.
Love that Anika song. Especially that part where they alter the main synth riff and play it in a different faster style. Great sleeve art as well.

I checked it out and I can definitely see the similarities between it and Touch Me, love both of them!
Today's pick is
Virginelle - Fantasy. My favourite intro ever, when you first hear those first few claps, is there any doubt which song is playing?
