And now we go back to the 200's.
Rocket man, your rocket man
Fly with me, to the moon, to the stars my heart
Rocket man, your rocket man
Takes you higher!

That's SEB217 btw, Wataru ;)
Mega NRG Man's best track. EVER. (I'm gonna get shot for that)
You know what's cool? The little Genesis soundbite at the beginning, too. It's a p. good track.

Deffo a solid offering. Also for today:

THE FRISBEES - BABY GO

This is an interestingly reggae-themed intro, with a male-and-female vocalization that puts me in mind of Aqua's earlier songs during the 1990's.

{I didn't want to be TOO off topic. :wink: }

KEY-A-KISS / WATASHI NO KARE WA SEKIYUOU (Y&CO. EURO OIL MIX)

I'm unsure of what this track has to do with European Petroleum Products but okay.

LUNA / CRASH IN MY HEART
Luna was so underated in the eurobeat scene. Apart from being a perfect female alias name; she had such wonderful songs.

That one right there is my favoutite Vibration female track; only next to,

Maria Valentina - Be My Lover (Vib11)

Is that the one with the phone call in the intro? I always liked that song.
I think its the first TIME soneopne mentions it?

Here's anotherone that I hardly see her.

Mad Max- Don't Break My Heart (Delta)
I think its the first TIME Claudio Magnani took over the alias? I could be wrong? but I love that synth riff.

Yeah, that's the one. I really like it too, it's a unique track!

Speaking of unique tracks, today is James Cooler - Lover To Lover

It sounds like the guys at A-Beat C wanted to mess around so they made this track and Giancarlo just went a bit too wild with the vocals

At least it sounds like it's Dave, it's not as easy to tell with the constant falsetto (not sure I'm using the correct musical term here but I'm going out on a limb)

yeah its Falsettio. Mauro Farina used it alot when doing vocals for Coo Coo, Lillac, and Thomas & Shubert on Flea and Asia records.

When Giancarlo(Dave) was releasing songs on Flea label, he tried out his falsetto a few TIMEs as well. Listen to T. Boy-Dancer. That where he sounds the best falsetto to me.

Gino Caria also did a few falsetto tunes. listen to Dr. Money Love That Body on TIME records. That intro backup that sounds like a woman. That's him doinf some falsetto screaming.

Nando Bonini has also sung in that style for a few songs on Stil Novo.

The style was was at its hight when Synth pop bands like Bronski Beat, Erasure and Green Olives.

I had no idea there were so many sung in falsetto, I'm gonna have to check it out :D

Slowly going through each and every SEB to find some hidden gems, right now I'm on 16 and the song for today is NRG Boys - En.Er.Gy.

Really badass hook

A very good song! If you haven't yet, you could listen to That's Eurobeat Vol. 28-31 too. Those are from the same year as Super Eurobeat Vol. 16. It features songs from Time, Radiorama, FCF records. Some of them are gems not to be missed:

F.C.F. - Big Match
Lisa Johnson - Love
Jenny Kee - Carry On
Kinky Go - Can We Make It (I included this because you like falsetto)
Phil & Stan - Play The Game
Captain Hook - Bomber
Alphatown - Body Rock
Stop Limit Line - Say You Love Me

I'll make a list of songs that I have to listen to :D
I love the That's Eurobeat compilation, there are a ton of Hi-NRG songs that I would never have heard of if I hadn't found it.

Today is Morena - Open Your Heart
I really thought it was Clara singing until I looked it up. Gubinelli's vocals are fantastic!

Great choice! At that time, many Time songs were sung by Clara (lead) and Manuela (backing) or the other way round.

Today: Dee Dee - Super Eurobeat Lover. I still like te Two Tribes beat at the intro and break.
