As the Eurovision song contest is going on and yesterday was the first semifinal: My song for the day is naturally Ukraine's dancy tune: Mariya Yaremchuk - Tick - Tock. Love the hamsterwheel running
Today is Perfume - The Best Thing. Disgustingly catchy electro-pop with sharp production and the trademark robotic vocals (basically vocaloid but sung by people)

Perfume is great!
Thread gets too little attention, I guess everyone else only listens to eurobeat (I mean its nice to see eurobeat having such loyal listeners but yeah)

DDR meets metal for any metal fans who need a "shake up".
It is a eurobeat forum after all, but it's nice seeing what people listen to outside of eurobeat
Megitsune is the shit, they have a few songs I was really into before!
Today is Björk - The Modern Things. I discovered Björk pretty recently and I've completely fallen for her music.
I'm pretty sure no one is "just eurobeat" though but whatever. Did you hear babymetal's 'line' before? http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=qVdBBOpSoN4, it's the ultimate DDR meets metal and I could swear that I think of Manuel's 'Never Say Never' everytime I hear that synth riff.
Bjork has a great sound but I could never stomach her vocals and pronunciations and that's probably what turned me out.
My today's non-eurobeat song is Aubrey Ashburn's 'Out Of Darkness'. It's a very orchestral song with a very soulful melody that will make anyone emotional. http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=rXk2XGGkD-Y

I haven't! One of my favs is Headbanger, the video for it is a pretty fun

Too bad, I think her voice is so full of expression, it's almost hypnotic.
I listened to the song, I love it when videogames have really good music. Preferably stuff that could be passed off a standalone songs. I love this one right here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6ESqvGzdnvs. At first it sounds haunting but the mood switches a bit later in

Heh yeah, the whole thing actually looks pretty stupid but the tune sure has a strong pull to it.

Great tune, sounds melancholic and sinister as hell. I never finished the game, but this makes me want to play it again, such is the power of VGM.
Here's another ballad which is also my today's non-eurobeat tune, the theme song of the classic Final Fantasy VIII, sung by Faye Wong,
it's an oldie but also a goldie.
Bowie is an excellent storyteller in this song. I think it's amazing how he can paint such a vivid picture with music and lyrics. Armageddon never felt so real!
Haha, first a "Today's Tune-Thread" and now I found a "Today's Non-Eurobeat Tune-Thread". This forum has a few surprises in store.
So, you guys know, what to do right now, don't ya?
Exactly, post your shit here now and not only in the other thread!
