Cheese

Post by Bonkers » 16 Jun 2014, 21:20

Where is it?

I'm talking like those sappy Italo melodies like in "Bye Bye Japan" by Vanessa, & "Love Rhapsody" by Victoria

And the cheesy euphoria melodies like in "I Don't Wanna Go" by Cherry & "Drive Me Faster Now" by Pretty Woman.

And those disco-energy bloops like in "Hurricane" by Karen.

And the chipmunky vocals from Hi-NRG Attack like "Hot Gal" by Mara Nell

and Kika & Fancy!

Oh oh oh! And those "Fire" "Desire" "Higher" lyrics! (along with mis-used English grammar!)

As for 229, I like a lot of the melodies this time around in the riffs. Maybe we'll see more of these factors return!

Cheese is a very subtle art! Eurobeat today feels like it's leaning a lot more towards dance and big sounds, so there isn't as much fire, desire, passion, reaction, emotion and sensation. As drnrg said, HRG Attack still got it, Dave definitely has it as well and Bratt knows how to summon it.
DANGEROSS! GOT TO FESS DE RESS!
