"Tietoja Nightcore
'Nightcore' are two boys from Alta, named Thomas S. Nilsen and Steffen Ojala Sderholm. We mix techno/dance music into faster and more happier sounds for your listening pleasure! Our name, 'Nightcore', means that we are the core of the night, so you'll dance all night long."
Nightcore, nowdays, is a verb..."I can nightcore this song!"
And even S3RL made a Hardcore track about the concept (If you've never seen S3RL, he makes tracks poking fun at crap like this and DJs who use laptops instead of vinyl/CDJs)

That's what I meant with fake mixes.Nightcore, nowdays, is a verb..."I can nightcore this song!"
Little anecdote: This reminds me of a discussion I had with a person about a year ago. On his profile, he stated his hobby would be "nightcoring songs for YouTube". I told him that this is no real Nightcore what he does. The discussion was somehow funny (for me) because I've spoken to a wall. In the end, he broke up the argue with a sentence that I'm still celebrating now: Höhr mit kritieseren auf, das kotzt echt so an. This is German and could be translated as Stawp critiicez me, that pisses me off.

Good spot. Had never heard that song before.EurothunderNL wrote:This is a remix of "Danny Rock - Day By Day And Every Night" which I like better honestly.
To be honest, I prefer the female vocals and the changes made to the chorus structure. Maybe it's because I heard the Mela song first, but yeah it sounds like the Danny Rock track has some elements missing. But thanks for sharing.
YouTube link to the Danny Rock track if anyone is interested:

I checked out some of that "nightcore" stuff. Big Mistake. The name alone should off let me know it would be a horrible listening expirience. One of you mentioned it's so that people will keep dancing all night? What a pity. I remember the days when people would feel great just dancing to the normal Italo and Hi-NRG songs. Clubs will always play the songs a little faster in bpms, but never tweek em as awefull as they do nowadys. It's probly all that extacy they use
@ ditz. Hey man I got Bastille- Laughter Lines from that link you posted, but it's ok, I love the indie pop rock of nowadays. Most melodic/80s grooves I 've gotten from pop music in a long TIME.

Oops, sorry about that - serves me right for trying to multi-task and post on two different forums at the same timedrnrg wrote:@ ditz. Link edited now - and glad you enjoyed that Bastille song; I'm slightly obsessed with their most recent double-album, and that's by far my fave song.
Danny Rock! These vocals! Because of songs like this the singer is my favorite one of all Eurobeat artists. I wanted to buy this song a looong time ago but for some reason I totally forgot it...
But if no one would have said that the Mela song is a rehash of this older song, I probably would never had noticed this. Even now, in my ears there are only two to three lines which let the two songs sound the same.

Wow, really? The intro structure and verses in particular are pretty much identical in terms of melody. It's the chorus that sounds the most different to me since there is a big section missing compared to the Mela track.KiraTM wrote:But if no one would have said that the Mela song is a rehash of this older song, I probably would never had noticed this. But yeah, good that the melody has the chance to shine for more people now
