I'm not a big fan of Stock Aitken and Waterman, but I think they have an important place in the history of Eurobeat. There was an interview with them this week on the radio. Here it is for those who are interested.

Yes, indeed. It's apparent that SAW influenced a lot of Euro Dance producers/musicians of the time. The Eurobeat song I first heard was <i>I Heard A Rumor - Bananarama</i>. Later I found this song was a clone of <i>Give Me Up - Michael Fortunati</i>, though.lol
When I heard <i>Naughty Boy</i> by Macho Gang, I grinned 'cause it was too similar to <i>Love In The First Degree</i> (yet another Bananarama's great hit) and then I learned Mr. Farina was a big admirer of SAW. :lol:
