Here's the link for the audio samples of SEB 234:

My top favs from the samples:

Lolita - It's Raining Love
Ace - Heavensent
David Dima - Insomnia
Dee Dee - Stay Together
Irene - Way Up Across The Sky

So happy to see Lolita, and happy to hear that Irene has come back with her older style which I have liked so much in the earlier 200's.

I have noticed that after the terrible attempts at trying to sound like House Music, Dubstep, and Trance music, the Eurobeat artists seem to be embracing the old high-speed sound of the 120-140 era.

I like this! I like this a lot! It seems like they realized that we don't want them to sound like other things, and are adapting to it.

I like nearly all the tracks on this one, after hearing the samples. It's rad. They need to keep this trend up.

The 220's saw some bland melody entries. Sun Fire, Hi-NRG Attack, SCP, and SinclaireStyle carried the decade onwards. 233 was a great entry, and saw some cheesy melodies return. This entry sounds like it could be good; I'm waiting on the Avex trailer so I can hear the riffs. From what I've heard, there's only 3 or 4 tracks I'm not thrilled about. I wish David Dima would just stop and let the other artist under the Dima label have control. His tracks are always the least eurobeat sounding and would be more suited on a vocal trance album.

I like the youtube previews a lot better. I just saw that the Ace and manuel song are extra short :-x, but Irene and Lou Master are a bit longer, so there is light at the end of this tunnel.

01. FIRE IN THE NIGHT / KEN MARTIN (3B)
I got this already and I love it. Mauro back on track.
8)

02. IT'S RAINING LOVE / LOLITA (GGM)
This actually doesn't so bad at all. I enjoyed the bridge and intro to the chorus.
:)

03. WARRIORS ON THE ROAD / MANUEL (GGM)
This kinda sounds all over the place melodically and I'm kinda burnt out on those up and downs effects. Sorta sounds like chaotic Russian theme music.
:|

04. HEAVEN SENT / ACE (SCP)
the chorus is extra dynamic great, but I agree ;that it all go to hell, if it's another lazy edit, because this song screams of awesomness. Please don't make me change my intial mark.
8)

05. LIKE A DIN DON / ROBERTA (SINCLAIRE STYLE)
This one has a lot of Sinclaire old school vibe to it. loving the chorus.
:D

06. SPIDER QUEEN / J-STARK (DELTA)
This will no doubt be my favourit track from the disc. reminds me of that Jimmy Ray style.
8)

07. TWISTER / JEFF DRILLER (HI-NRG ATTACK)
Rimonti back on vocals. That alone is worth the cds price. Did he just say "Twister your Sister"?. Instant smiley with shades.
8)

08. ON MY WAY / NORMA SHEFFIELD (SUNFIRE)
I like Norma, but this sounds a bit boring. The chorus isn't enticing at all and Norma sounds a bit bored herself?
:|

09. INSOMNIA / DAVID DIMA (DIMA)
Interesting sounding title, but I'm getting transy vibe from the synth riff. Nowhere near the perfection of "Spirit Of The Night". Hopefully it sounds better once I've heard the entire track?
:?

10. GUARDIAN ANGELS / OCEANIA (SUNFIRE)
This wins for most terrible preview this year. Did she suck in Helium to get that effect? Aweful vocals. I'll say it again. AWEFUL VOCALS!
:-x

11. GIRL IN THE NIGHT / DOLLY POP (HI-NRG ATTACK)
back on good Hi NRG ground here. The chorus again had a cool Italo vibe.
:D

12. STAY TOGETHER / DEE DEE (DIMA)
I do recall Dee Dee having higher tone to his vocals, but I think Dima added a bit too much? Almost sounds like he did in that Hi-Gang song from TIME records years ago. The preview itself sounds pretty good.
:)

13. WAY ACROSS THE SKY / IRENE (SCP)
this sounds pretty epic. SCP usually gives their female counterparts longer songs , if that's the case, this could be one of my favs?

14. FIREBIRD / LOU MASTER (SCP)
ahh the agressive style I'd take a bullet for. This sounds astoundingly powerful. Crossing my fingers for a cool 5 min+ song here?
8)

15. FIRE WIRE / CHAI (SINCLAIRE STYLE)
It might be Gianni, but it doesn't convince me 100% especially during the chorus, unless he smoked a pack of cigaretts before he sang the song.besides Gianni has been pretty active in the Italo rebirth scene and his vocals havn't changed that much. Either way, this preview sounds pretty great.

I chose a good time to get back into Eurobeat.

I'd been listening to House, Dubstep, and Japanese pop music for a bit. I'd also been listening to Orchestral Trance Music.

It's good to be home, guys. :D

You see? That's what I'm talking about… BUT maybe they're still experimenting and finding a more fitting style or something. After all Sunfire is a kinda new label and they don't have Pasquini now. I loved Dee Dee's track even with that hi-pitched weird voice hahahahaha
para_rigby wrote:Pretty sure that Chai is Gianni Coraini! Most of the songs are pretty good sans Oceania and Dee Dee. Really don't like warped vocals.
It sure reminds of his voice buuuuuuut i don't think it's him :(
edit: or it is? the more I listen, the more i can hear his voice i'm cryin
What Pasquinni is still at Sun Fire. It's basically just Him and Futura doing all the writing. Judging by these two samples; it sounds like they checked in their inspiration at the back door. I'm just hoping Dave is saving all the good stuff for his next upcoming track?

Chai is Gianni? For sure? Except the fact that it has a bit of raspy vocals just like in his last song "Let's Get It Done Tonight". Anyway, can't wait to listen the full track to be sure if it is him...

Chai - Fire Wire and Gianni Coraini?

That's correct, he was only payable vocalist, but sudden co-working, especially with Andrea Leonardi sounds strange in this era, when Italo Disco is reborn and Eurobeat is in poor condition. This guy is over 60 years old and has long been involved as Ken Laszlo in the live performances only for Italo Disco fans. In mentioned song, vocal is similar in some parts, but too powerful, Gianni Coraini has never sang so fast and wild rhythms.

Hi-Nrg Attack doesn't ring a bell? 8)
I may say he is/was one of the most wide-ranging eurobeat singers out there, yet - I agree with you - it would be rather strange to have him back now and why choose that label?

Remember that Nuage did a song on that label so it's not so far fetched. We know many vocalists that switch studios.

Stephy Martini also did one at HRG Attack. "Get My Venus"

I don't think Chai is Gianni, unless he wants to do Sinclaire a friendly favor. besides he is too busy at the moment with ItaLove, TQ and Fred Ventura projects. Gianna never even sang at DELTA? If anything, you'd think he might return to HRG Attack for one last stunt.

Maybe someone should ask Sinclaire and get the lowdown for sure?
