Hi everybody!
My name is RBDJ and I'm an indipendent music producer.
Til some time ago I made only Trance, house and techno songs. Then my friend sent me the mp3 of Dave Rodgers, "Space boy". After that I became to compose some "instrumental" Eurobeat songs. NOw I'm working on some eb songs with voice: between these, an eurobeat version of the Green Day's song "Welcome to paradise", of Depeche Mode's "Enjoy the silence" and an original eb song that I'm working on.
Btw I think that will b a pleasure b here, and I hope in ur support for let me continue my work

as soon as possible I'll post links to my songs.
Cheers
RBDJ

This thread probably would be best for the eurobeat discussion forum rather than this one

Heres the link to an earlier version of Enjoy the silence.
It's instrumental but I'm currently recording vocals.
Fruity Loops Studio 5 Producer Edition used.
I made the guitar sound using the FL Slayer guitar simulator.
This is the first time that I upload an eurobeat in a 100% eb forum, so plz be gentle
Cheers RBDJ

I think your work resembles Delta's work, with a bit more of a trancy feel, but the fact that it's done entirely in FL really shows, unfortunately.
The one thing I'm noticing is that you have no leading, driving synth. You need a main synth pattern to create a melody. The vocals then follow that melody. I forget what the particular style is called, but every eurobeat song uses it. I'm not sure the song follows eurobeat format theory, either... it's hard to tell (at this point in the morning) without the lead synth.
Good job on the instrumental, though. It's difficult to find a good sounding kickdrum/hi-hat combo.
The true test will be to hear it with vocals, obviously. Since you're from Italy, I can only assume you'll use an italian artist, hopefully preserving the vocals in the way we're used to hearing them, with that decidedly italo flair. ^_^
EDIT:
Yes, now that the grogginess of morning has passed, I can safely say that the need for a driving lead synth can easily be replaced by lyrics to create the melody... I must've been thinking about another concept...
Be the sound you feel inside your voice!

I'm interested in Your Green Day remake. That was one of my favorite songs of the year.
